{"id":976,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"23","bab_id":30.0,"english_bab_number":"30","arabic_bab_number":"30","hadith_number":"1281, 1282","our_hadith_number":42,"arabic_urn":111711,"arabic_bab_name":"باب إِحْدَادِ الْمَرْأَةِ عَلَى غَيْرِ زَوْجِهَا","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ، دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏\"‏ لاَ يَحِلُّ لاِمْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ تُحِدُّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ، إِلاَّ عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ‏\"‏‏.‏ ثُمَّ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ أَخُوهَا، فَدَعَتْ بِطِيبٍ فَمَسَّتْ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ مَا لِي بِالطِّيبِ مِنْ حَاجَةٍ، غَيْرَ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ ‏\"‏ لاَ يَحِلُّ لاِمْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ تُحِدُّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ، إِلاَّ عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ‏\"‏‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'ismaa'iylu، haddathaniy maalikun، 'an 'abdi alllahi bni 'abiy bakri bni muhammadi bni 'amriw bni hazmin، 'an humaydi bni naafi'in، 'an zaynaba binti 'abiy salamaha، 'akhbarathu qaalat، dakhaltu 'alay 'ummi habiybaha zawji alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaalat sami'tu rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm yaquwlu ‏\"‏ laa yahillu laimra'ahin tu'minu bialllahi waalyawmi al'aakhiri tuhiddu 'alay mayyitin fawqa thalaathin، 'ilaaa 'alay zawjin 'arba'aha 'ashhurin wa'ashrana ‏\"‏‏.‏ thumma dakhaltu 'alay zaynaba binti jahshin hiyna tuwuffiya 'akhuwhaa، fada'at bitiybin famassat thumma qaalat maa liy bialttiybi min haajahin، ghayra 'anniy sami'tu rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'alay alminbari yaquwlu ‏\"‏ laa yahillu laimra'ahin tu'minu bialllahi waalyawmi al'aakhiri tuhiddu 'alay mayyitin fawqa thalaathin، 'ilaaa 'alay zawjin 'arba'aha 'ashhurin wa'ashrana ‏\"‏‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":12090,"english_bab_name":"The mooring of a woman for a dead person other than her husband","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Zainab bint Abi Salama:\n\n<p>I went to Um Habiba, the wife of Prophet, who said, \"I heard the Prophets saying, 'It is not legal for a \nwoman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for any dead person for more than three days \nexcept for her husband, (for whom she should mourn) for four months and ten days'.\" Later I went to \nZainab bint Jahsh when her brother died; she asked for some scent, and after using it she said, \"I am \nnot in need of scent but I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'It is not legal for a woman who believes in \nAllah and the Last Day to mourn for more than three days for any dead person except her husband, \n(for whom she should mourn) for four months and ten days.' \"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
