{"id":753,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"16","bab_id":5.0,"english_bab_number":"5","arabic_bab_number":"5","hadith_number":"1047","our_hadith_number":8,"arabic_urn":109330,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ هَلْ يَقُولُ كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ خَسَفَتْ؟","arabic_text":"صَلَّى يَوْمَ خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَامَ فَكَبَّرَ، فَقَرَأَ قِرَاءَةً طَوِيلَةً، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلاً، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ‏.‏ وَقَامَ كَمَا هُوَ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ قِرَاءَةً طَوِيلَةً، وَهْىَ أَدْنَى مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ الأُولَى، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلاً، وَهْىَ أَدْنَى مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الأُولَى، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سُجُودًا طَوِيلاً، ثُمَّ فَعَلَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الآخِرَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ وَقَدْ تَجَلَّتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ، فَقَالَ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ ‏\"‏ إِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ، لاَ يَخْسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلاَ لِحَيَاتِهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"sallay yawma khasafati alshshamsu، faqaama fakabbara، faqara'a qiraa'ahan tawiylahan، thumma raka'a rukuw'ana tawiylaan، thumma rafa'a ra'sahu، faqaala sami'a alllahu liman hamidahu‏.‏ waqaama kamaa huwa، thumma qara'a qiraa'ahan tawiylahan، wahya 'adnay mina alqiraa'ahi al'uwlay، thumma raka'a rukuw'ana tawiylaan، wahya 'adnay mina alrrak'ahi al'uwlay، thumma sajada sujuwdana tawiylaan، thumma fa'ala fiy alrrak'ahi al'aakhirahi mithla dhalika، thumma sallama waqad tajallati alshshamsu، fakhataba alnnaasa، faqaala fiy kusuwfi alshshamsi waalqamari ‏\"‏ 'innahumaa 'aayataani min 'aayaati alllahi، laa yakhsifaani limawti 'ahadin walaa lihayaatihi، fa'idhaa ra'aytumuwhumaa faafza'uwa 'ilay alssalaahi ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":9920,"english_bab_name":"Should one say: The sun Kasafat or Khasafat?","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Aisha:\n\n<p>(the wife of the Prophet) On the day when the sun Khasafat (eclipsed) Allah's Apostle prayed; he \nstood up and said Takbir and recited a prolonged recitation, then he performed a prolonged bowing, \nthen he raised his head and said, \"Sami`a l-lahu Lyman Hamidah,\" and then remained standing and \nrecited a prolonged recitation which was shorter than the first. Then he performed a prolonged bowing \nwhich was shorter than the first. Then he prostrated and prolonged the prostration and he did the same \nin the second rak`a as in the first and then finished the prayer with Taslim. By that time the sun \n(eclipse) had cleared He addressed the people and said, \"The sun and the moon are two of the signs of \nAllah; they do not eclipse (Yakhsifan) because of the death or the life (i.e. birth) of someone.
