{"id":7004,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"65","bab_id":110.04,"english_bab_number":"4","arabic_bab_number":"4","hadith_number":"4970","our_hadith_number":492,"arabic_urn":183100,"arabic_bab_name":"باب ‏<A id=\"q148\" name=\"q148\" href=\"javascript:openquran(109,3,3)\"><c_q148>{‏فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا‏}</c_q148></a>‏","arabic_text":"لِمَ تُدْخِلُ هَذَا مَعَنَا وَلَنَا أَبْنَاءٌ مِثْلُهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ عَلِمْتُمْ‏.‏ فَدَعَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ ـ فَأَدْخَلَهُ مَعَهُمْ ـ فَمَا رُئِيتُ أَنَّهُ دَعَانِي يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلاَّ لِيُرِيَهُمْ‏.‏ قَالَ مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى ‏{‏إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ‏}‏ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ أُمِرْنَا نَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ، إِذَا نُصِرْنَا وَفُتِحَ عَلَيْنَا‏.‏ وَسَكَتَ بَعْضُهُمْ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لِي أَكَذَاكَ تَقُولُ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقُلْتُ لاَ‏.‏ قَالَ فَمَا تَقُولُ قُلْتُ هُوَ أَجَلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَعْلَمَهُ لَهُ، قَالَ ‏{‏إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ‏}‏ وَذَلِكَ عَلاَمَةُ أَجَلِكَ ‏{‏فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا‏}‏‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَا أَعْلَمُ مِنْهَا إِلاَّ مَا تَقُولُ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"lima tudkhilu hadhaa ma'anaa walanaa 'abnaa'un mithluhu faqaala 'umaru 'innahu min haythu 'alimtum‏.‏ fada'aa dhaata yawmin  fa'adkhalahu ma'ahum  famaa ru'iytu 'annahu da'aaniy yawma'idhin 'ilaaa liyuriyahum‏.‏ qaala maa taquwluwna fiy qawli alllahi ta'aalay ‏{‏'idhaa jaa'a nasru alllahi waalfathu‏}‏ faqaala ba'duhum 'umirnaa nahmadu alllaha wanastaghfiruhu، 'idhaa nusirnaa wafutiha 'alaynaa‏.‏ wasakata ba'duhum falam yaqul shay'ana faqaala liy 'akadhaaka taquwlu yaa abna 'abbaasin faqultu laa‏.‏ qaala famaa taquwlu qultu huwa 'ajalu rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'a'lamahu lahu، qaala ‏{‏'idhaa jaa'a nasru alllahi waalfathu‏}‏ wadhalika 'alaamahu 'ajalika ‏{‏fasabbih bihamdi rabbika waastaghfirhu 'innahu kaana tawwaabana‏}‏‏.‏ faqaala 'umaru maa 'a'lamu minhaa 'ilaaa maa taquwlu‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":46490,"english_bab_name":"The Statement of Allah the Exalted: \"So, glorify the praises of your Lord, and ask His forgiveness. Verily! He is the One Who accepts the repentance and forgives.\" (V.110:3)","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Ibn `Abbas:\n\n<p>`Umar used to make me sit with the elderly men who had fought in the Battle of Badr. Some of them \nfelt it (did not like that) and said to `Umar \"Why do you bring in this boy to sit with us while we have \nsons like him?\" `Umar replied, \"Because of what you know of his position (i.e. his religious \nknowledge.)\" One day `Umar called me and made me sit in the gathering of those people; and I think \nthat he called me just to show them. (my religious knowledge). `Umar then asked them (in my \npresence). \"What do you say about the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: \n'When comes Help of Allah (to you O, Muhammad against your enemies) and the conquest (of \nMecca).' (110.1) Some of them said, \"We are ordered to praise Allah and ask for His forgiveness \nwhen Allah's Help and the conquest (of Mecca) comes to us.\" Some others kept quiet and did not say \nanything. On that, `Umar asked me, \"Do you say the same, O Ibn `Abbas?\" I replied, \"No.\" He said, \n'What do you say then?\" I replied, \"That is the sign of the death of Allah's Apostle which Allah \ninformed him of. Allah said:-- \n'(O Muhammad) When comes the Help of Allah (to you against your enemies) and the conquest (of \nMecca) (which is the sign of your death). You should celebrate the praises of your Lord and ask for \nHis Forgiveness, and He is the One Who accepts the repentance and forgives.'
