{"id":6953,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"65","bab_id":72.01,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"4921","our_hadith_number":441,"arabic_urn":182580,"arabic_bab_name":"باب","arabic_text":"انْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي طَائِفَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ عَامِدِينَ إِلَى سُوقِ عُكَاظٍ، وَقَدْ حِيلَ بَيْنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ، وَأُرْسِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّهُبُ فَرَجَعَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَقَالُوا مَا لَكُمْ فَقَالُوا حِيلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ وَأُرْسِلَتْ عَلَيْنَا الشُّهُبُ‏.‏ قَالَ مَا حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ إِلاَّ مَا حَدَثَ، فَاضْرِبُوا مَشَارِقَ الأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا فَانْظُرُوا مَا هَذَا الأَمْرُ الَّذِي حَدَثَ‏.‏ فَانْطَلَقُوا فَضَرَبُوا مَشَارِقَ الأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا يَنْظُرُونَ مَا هَذَا الأَمْرُ الَّذِي حَالَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ‏.‏ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقَ الَّذِينَ تَوَجَّهُوا نَحْوَ تِهَامَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَخْلَةَ، وَهْوَ عَامِدٌ إِلَى سُوقِ عُكَاظٍ، وَهْوَ يُصَلِّي بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاَةَ الْفَجْرِ، فَلَمَّا سَمِعُوا الْقُرْآنَ تَسَمَّعُوا لَهُ فَقَالُوا هَذَا الَّذِي حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ‏.‏ فَهُنَالِكَ رَجَعُوا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَقَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ، وَلَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا‏.‏ وَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏{‏قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ‏}‏ وَإِنَّمَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ قَوْلُ الْجِنِّ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"antalaqa rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm fiy taa'ifahin min 'ashaabihi 'aamidiyna 'ilay suwqi 'ukaazin، waqad hiyla bayna alshshayaatiyni wabayna khabari alssamaa'i، wa'ursilat 'alayhimu alshshuhubu faraja'ati alshshayaatiynu faqaaluwa maa lakum faqaaluwa hiyla baynanaa wabayna khabari alssamaa'i wa'ursilat 'alaynaa alshshuhubu‏.‏ qaala maa haala baynakum wabayna khabari alssamaa'i 'ilaaa maa hadatha، faadribuwa mashaariqa al'ardi wamaghaaribahaa faanzuruwa maa hadhaa al'amru alladhiy hadatha‏.‏ faantalaquwa fadarabuwa mashaariqa al'ardi wamaghaaribahaa yanzuruwna maa hadhaa al'amru alladhiy haala baynahum wabayna khabari alssamaa'i‏.‏ qaala faantalaqa alladhiyna tawajjahuwa nahwa tihaamaha 'ilay rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm binakhlaha، wahwa 'aamidun 'ilay suwqi 'ukaazin، wahwa yusalliy bi'ashaabihi salaaha alfajri، falammaa sami'uwa alqur'aana tasamma'uwa lahu faqaaluwa hadhaa alladhiy haala baynakum wabayna khabari alssamaa'i‏.‏ fahunaalika raja'uwa 'ilay qawmihim faqaaluwa yaa qawmanaa 'innaa sami'naa qur'aanana 'ajabana yahdiy 'ilay alrrushdi fa'aamannaa bihi، walan nushrika birabbinaa 'ahadana‏.‏ wa'anzala alllahu 'azza wajalla 'alay nabiyyihi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏{‏qul 'uwhiya 'ilayya 'annahu astama'a nafarun mina aljinni‏}‏ wa'innamaa 'uwhiya 'ilayhi qawlu aljinni‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":45980,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Ibn `Abbas:\n\n<p>Allah's Apostle went out along with a group of his companions towards `Ukaz Market. At that time \nsomething intervened between the devils and the news of the Heaven, and flames were sent down \nupon them, so the devils returned. Their fellow-devils said, \"What is wrong with you? \" They said, \n\"Something has intervened between us and the news of the Heaven, and fires (flames) have been shot \nat us.\" Their fellow-devils said, \"Nothing has intervened between you and the news of the Heaven, but \nan important event has happened. Therefore, travel all over the world, east and west, and try to find \nout what has happened.\" And so they set out and travelled all over the world, east and west, looking \nfor that thing which intervened between them and the news of the Heaven. Those of the devils who \nhad set out towards Tihama, went to Allah's Apostle at Nakhla (a place between Mecca and Taif) \nwhile he was on his way to `Ukaz Market. (They met him) while he was offering the Fajr prayer with \nhis companions. When they heard the Holy Qur'an being recited (by Allah's Apostle), they listened to \nit and said (to each other). This is the thing which has intervened between you and the news of the \nHeavens.\" Then they returned to their people and said, \"O our people! We have really heard a \nwonderful recital (Qur'an). It gives guidance to the right, and we have believed therein. We shall not \njoin in worship, anybody with our Lord.\" (See 72.1-2) Then Allah revealed to His Prophet (Surat al- \nJinn): \n'Say: It has been revealed to me that a group (3 to 9) of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an).'
