{"id":688,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"13","bab_id":20.0,"english_bab_number":"20","arabic_bab_number":"20","hadith_number":"980","our_hadith_number":29,"arabic_urn":108660,"arabic_bab_name":"باب إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا جِلْبَابٌ فِي الْعِيدِ","arabic_text":"لِتُلْبِسْهَا صَاحِبَتُهَا مِنْ جِلْبَابِهَا فَلْيَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَتْ حَفْصَةُ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَتْ أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ أَتَيْتُهَا، فَسَأَلْتُهَا أَسَمِعْتِ فِي كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَتْ نَعَمْ، بِأَبِي ـ وَقَلَّمَا ذَكَرَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلاَّ قَالَتْ بِأَبِي ـ قَالَ ‏\"‏ لِيَخْرُجِ الْعَوَاتِقُ ذَوَاتُ الْخُدُورِ ـ أَوْ قَالَ الْعَوَاتِقُ وَذَوَاتُ الْخُدُورِ شَكَّ أَيُّوبُ ـ وَالْحُيَّضُ، وَيَعْتَزِلُ الْحُيَّضُ الْمُصَلَّى، وَلْيَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا آلْحُيَّضُ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ، أَلَيْسَ الْحَائِضُ تَشْهَدُ عَرَفَاتٍ وَتَشْهَدُ كَذَا وَتَشْهَدُ كَذَا","arabic_transliteration":"litulbishaa saahibatuhaa min jilbaabihaa falyashhadna alkhayra wada'waha almu'miniyna ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaalat hafsahu falammaa qadimat 'ummu 'atiyyaha 'ataytuhaa، fasa'altuhaa 'asami'ti fiy kadhaa wakadhaa qaalat na'am، bi'abiy  waqallamaa dhakarati alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm 'ilaaa qaalat bi'abiy  qaala ‏\"‏ liyakhruji al'awaatiqu dhawaatu alkhuduwri  'aw qaala al'awaatiqu wadhawaatu alkhuduwri shakka 'ayyuwbu  waalhuyyadu، waya'tazilu alhuyyadu almusallay، walyashhadna alkhayra wada'waha almu'miniyna ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaalat faqultu lahaa 'aalhuyyadu qaalat na'am، 'alaysa alhaa'idu tashhadu 'arafaatin watashhadu kadhaa watashhadu kadhaa","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":9310,"english_bab_name":"If a women has no veil to use for Eid","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Aiyub:\n\n<p>Hafsa bint Seereen said, \"On Id we used to forbid our girls to go out for `Id prayer. A lady came and \nstayed at the palace of Bani Khalaf and I went to her. She said, 'The husband of my sister took part in \ntwelve holy battles along with the Prophet and my sister was with her husband in six of them. My \nsister said that they used to nurse the sick and treat the wounded. Once she asked, 'O Allah's Apostle! \nIf a woman has no veil, is there any harm if she does not come out (on `Id day)?' The Prophet said, \n'Her companion should let her share her veil with her, and the women should participate in the good \ndeeds and in the religious gatherings of the believers.' \" Hafsa added, \"When Um-`Atiya came, I went \nto her and asked her, 'Did you hear anything about so-and-so?' Um-`Atiya said, 'Yes, let my father be \nsacrificed for the Prophet (p.b.u.h). (And whenever she mentioned the name of the Prophet she always \nused to say, 'Let my father be' sacrificed for him). He said, 'Virgin mature girls staying often screened \n(or said, 'Mature girls and virgins staying often screened--Aiyub is not sure as which was right) and \nmenstruating women should come out (on the `Id day). But the menstruating women should keep \naway from the Musalla. And all the women should participate in the good deeds and in the religious \ngatherings of the believers'.\" Hafsa said, \"On that I said to Um-`Atiya, 'Also those who are \nmenstruating?' \" Um-`Atiya replied, \"Yes.
