{"id":684,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"13","bab_id":17.0,"english_bab_number":"17","arabic_bab_number":"17","hadith_number":"976","our_hadith_number":25,"arabic_urn":108620,"arabic_bab_name":"باب اسْتِقْبَالِ الإِمَامِ النَّاسَ فِي خُطْبَةِ الْعِيدِ","arabic_text":"خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ أَضْحًى إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ وَقَالَ ‏\"‏ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ نُسُكِنَا فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا أَنْ نَبْدَأَ بِالصَّلاَةِ، ثُمَّ نَرْجِعَ فَنَنْحَرَ، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ وَافَقَ سُنَّتَنَا، وَمَنْ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ شَىْءٌ عَجَّلَهُ لأَهْلِهِ، لَيْسَ مِنَ النُّسُكِ فِي شَىْءٍ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي ذَبَحْتُ وَعِنْدِي جَذَعَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مُسِنَّةٍ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ اذْبَحْهَا، وَلاَ تَفِي عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"kharaja alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm yawma 'adhany 'ilay albaqiy'i fasallay rak'atayni، thumma 'aqbala 'alaynaa biwajhihi waqaala ‏\"‏ 'inna 'awwala nusukinaa fiy yawminaa hadhaa 'an nabda'a bialssalaahi، thumma narji'a fananhara، faman fa'ala dhalika faqad waafaqa sunnatanaa، waman dhabaha qabla dhalika fa'innamaa huwa shay'un 'ajjalahu l'ahlihi، laysa mina alnnusuki fiy shay'in ‏\"‏‏.‏ faqaama rajulun faqaala yaa rasuwla alllahi، 'inniy dhabahtu wa'indiy jadha'ahun khayrun min musinnahin‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ adhbahhaa، walaa tafiy 'an 'ahadin ba'daka ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":9280,"english_bab_name":"The Imam faces the people while delivering the Khutna (religious talk) of Eid","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Al-Bara':\n\n<p>The Prophet went towards Al-Baqi (the graveyard at Medina) on the day of Id-ul-Adha and offered a \ntwo-rak`at prayer (of `Id-ul-Adha) and then faced us and said, \"On this day of ours, our first act of \nworship is the offering of prayer and then we will return and slaughter the sacrifice, and whoever does \nthis concords with our Sunna; and whoever slaughtered his sacrifice before that (i.e. before the prayer) \nthen that was a thing which he prepared earlier for his family and it would not be considered as a \nNusuk (sacrifice.)\" A man stood up and said, \"O, Allah's Apostle! I slaughtered (the animal before the \nprayer) but I have a young she-goat which is better than an older sheep.\" The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said to \nhim, \"Slaughter it.
