{"id":6779,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"65","bab_id":24.01,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"4745","our_hadith_number":267,"arabic_urn":180800,"arabic_bab_name":"باب قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‏{‏وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلاَّ أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ‏}‏","arabic_text":"قَدْ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ الْقُرْآنَ فِيكَ وَفِي صَاحِبَتِكَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَأَمَرَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْمُلاَعَنَةِ بِمَا سَمَّى اللَّهُ فِي كِتَابِهِ، فَلاَعَنَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنْ حَبَسْتُهَا فَقَدْ ظَلَمْتُهَا، فَطَلَّقَهَا، فَكَانَتْ سُنَّةً لِمَنْ كَانَ بَعْدَهُمَا فِي الْمُتَلاَعِنَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ انْظُرُوا فَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَسْحَمَ أَدْعَجَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ عَظِيمَ الأَلْيَتَيْنِ خَدَلَّجَ السَّاقَيْنِ فَلاَ أَحْسِبُ عُوَيْمِرًا إِلاَّ قَدْ صَدَقَ عَلَيْهَا، وَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أُحَيْمِرَ كَأَنَّهُ وَحَرَةٌ فَلاَ أَحْسِبُ عُوَيْمِرًا، إِلاَّ قَدْ كَذَبَ عَلَيْهَا ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"qad 'anzala alllahu alqur'aana fiyka wafiy saahibatika ‏\"‏‏.‏ fa'amarahumaa rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm bialmulaa'anahi bimaa sammay alllahu fiy kitaabihi، falaa'anahaa thumma qaala yaa rasuwla alllahi، 'in habastuhaa faqad zalamtuhaa، fatallaqahaa، fakaanat sunnahan liman kaana ba'dahumaa fiy almutalaa'inayni، thumma qaala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ anzuruwa fa'in jaa'at bihi 'ashama 'ad'aja al'aynayni 'aziyma al'alyatayni khadallaja alssaaqayni falaa 'ahsibu 'uwaymirana 'ilaaa qad sadaqa 'alayhaa، wa'in jaa'at bihi 'uhaymira ka'annahu waharahun falaa 'ahsibu 'uwaymirana، 'ilaaa qad kadhaba 'alayhaa ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":44240,"english_bab_name":"The Statement of Allah the Exalted: \"And for those who accuse their wives, but have no witnesses except themselves...\" (V.24:6)","english_text":"

\nNarrated Sahl bin Saud:\n\n

'Uwaimir came to `Asim bin `Adi who was the chief of Bani Ajlan and said, \"What do you say about a \nman who has found another man with his wife? Should he kill him whereupon you would kill him (i.e. \nthe husband), or what should he do? Please ask Allah's Apostle about this matter on my behalf.\" \n`Asim then went to the Prophet and said, \"O Allah's Apostle! (And asked him that question) but \nAllah's Apostle disliked the question,\" When 'Uwaimir asked `Asim (about the Prophet's answer) \n`Asim replied that Allah's Apostle disliked such questions and considered it shameful. \"Uwaimir then \nsaid, \"By Allah, I will not give up asking unless I ask Allah's Apostle about it.\" Uwaimir came (to the \nProphet ) and said, \"O Allah's Apostle! A man has found another man with his wife! Should he kill \nhim whereupon you would kill him (the husband, in Qisas) or what should he do?\" Allah's Apostle \nsaid, \"Allah has revealed regarding you and your wife's case in the Qur'an \"So Allah's Apostle ordered \nthem to perform the measures of Mula'ana according to what Allah had mentioned in His Book. So \n'Uwaimir did Mula'ana with her and said, \"O Allah's Apostle! If I kept her I would oppress her.\" So \n'Uwaimir divorced her and so divorce became a tradition after them for those who happened to be \ninvolved in a case of Mula'ana. Allah's Apostle then said, \"Look! If she (Uwaimir's wife) delivers a \nblack child with deep black large eyes, big hips and fat legs, then I will be of the opinion that \n'Uwaimir has spoken the truth; but if she delivers a red child looking like a Wahra then we will \nconsider that 'Uwaimir has told a lie against her.\" Later on she delivered a child carrying the qualities \nwhich Allah's Apostle had mentioned as a proof for 'Uwaimir's claim; therefore the child was ascribed \nto its mother henceforth.","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
