{"id":6519,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"65","bab_id":2.06,"english_bab_number":"6","arabic_bab_number":"6","hadith_number":"4480","our_hadith_number":7,"arabic_urn":178070,"arabic_bab_name":"باب قَوْلُهُ ‏<A id=\"q16\" name=\"q16\" href=\"javascript:openquran(1,97,97)\"><c_q16>{‏مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِجِبْرِيلَ‏}</c_q16></a>‏","arabic_text":"ذَاكَ عَدُوُّ الْيَهُودِ مِنَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ‏.‏ فَقَرَأَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ ‏{‏مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُ نَزَّلَهُ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ‏}‏ أَمَّا أَوَّلُ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ فَنَارٌ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ إِلَى الْمَغْرِبِ، وَأَمَّا أَوَّلُ طَعَامِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَزِيَادَةُ كَبِدِ حُوتٍ، وَإِذَا سَبَقَ مَاءُ الرَّجُلِ مَاءَ الْمَرْأَةِ نَزَعَ الْوَلَدَ، وَإِذَا سَبَقَ مَاءُ الْمَرْأَةِ نَزَعَتْ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏.‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ قَوْمٌ بُهُتٌ، وَإِنَّهُمْ إِنْ يَعْلَمُوا بِإِسْلاَمِي قَبْلَ أَنْ تَسْأَلَهُمْ يَبْهَتُونِي‏.‏ فَجَاءَتِ الْيَهُودُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ أَىُّ رَجُلٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِيكُمْ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا خَيْرُنَا وَابْنُ خَيْرِنَا، وَسَيِّدُنَا وَابْنُ سَيِّدِنَا‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَسْلَمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ ‏\"‏‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"dhaaka 'aduwwu alyahuwdi mina almalaa'ikahi‏.‏ faqara'a hadhihi al'aayaha ‏{‏man kaana 'aduwwana lijibriyla fa'innahu nazzalahu 'alay qalbika‏}‏ 'ammaa 'awwalu 'ashraati alssaa'ahi fanaarun tahshuru alnnaasa mina almashriqi 'ilay almaghribi، wa'ammaa 'awwalu ta'aami 'ahli aljannahi faziyaadahu kabidi huwtin، wa'idhaa sabaqa maa'u alrrajuli maa'a almar'ahi naza'a alwalada، wa'idhaa sabaqa maa'u almar'ahi naza'at ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala 'ashhadu 'an laa 'ilaha 'ilaaa alllahu، wa'ashhadu 'annaka rasuwlu alllahi‏.‏ yaa rasuwla alllahi 'inna alyahuwda qawmun buhutun، wa'innahum 'in ya'lamuwa bi'islaamiy qabla 'an tas'alahum yabhatuwniy‏.‏ fajaa'ati alyahuwdu faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ 'ayyu rajulin 'abdu alllahi fiykum ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa khayrunaa waabnu khayrinaa، wasayyidunaa waabnu sayyidinaa‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ 'ara'aytum 'in 'aslama 'abdu alllahi bnu salaamin ‏\"‏‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":41620,"english_bab_name":"\"Whoever is an enemy to Jibril (Gabriel)...\" (V.2:97)","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Anas:\n\n<p>`Abdullah bin Salam heard the news of the arrival of Allah's Apostle (at Medina) while he was on a \nfarm collecting its fruits. So he came to the Prophet and said, \"I will ask you about three things which \nnobody knows unless he be a prophet. Firstly, what is the first portent of the Hour? What is the first \nmeal of the people of Paradise? And what makes a baby look like its father or mother?'. The Prophet \nsaid, \"Just now Gabriel has informed me about that.\" `Abdullah said, \"Gabriel?\" The Prophet said, \n\"Yes.\" `Abdullah said, \"He, among the angels is the enemy of the Jews.\" On that the Prophet recited \nthis Holy Verse:-- \n\"Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel (let him die in his fury!) for he has brought it (i.e. Qur'an) down to \nyour heart by Allah's permission.\" (2.97) Then he added, \"As for the first portent of the Hour, it will \nbe a fire that will collect the people from the East to West. And as for the first meal of the people of \nParadise, it will be the caudite (i.e. extra) lobe of the fish liver. And if a man's discharge proceeded \nthat of the woman, then the child resembles the father, and if the woman's discharge proceeded that of \nthe man, then the child resembles the mother.\" On hearing that, `Abdullah said, \"I testify that None \nhas the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that you are the Apostle of Allah, O, Allah's Apostle; the \nJews are liars, and if they should come to know that I have embraced Islam, they would accuse me of \nbeing a liar.\" In the meantime some Jews came (to the Prophet) and he asked them, \"What is \n`Abdullah's status amongst you?\" They replied, \"He is the best amongst us, and he is our chief and the \nson of our chief.\" The Prophet said, \"What would you think if `Abdullah bin Salam embraced Islam?\" \nThey replied, \"May Allah protect him from this!\" Then `Abdullah came out and said, \"I testify that \nNone has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah.\" The Jews \nthen said, \"Abdullah is the worst of us and the son of the worst of us,\" and disparaged him.
