{"id":6114,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"78","bab_id":27.0,"english_bab_number":"27","arabic_bab_number":"27","hadith_number":"6009","our_hadith_number":40,"arabic_urn":173150,"arabic_bab_name":"باب رَحْمَةِ النَّاسِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ","arabic_text":"بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي بِطَرِيقٍ اشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَطَشُ، فَوَجَدَ بِئْرًا فَنَزَلَ فِيهَا فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، فَإِذَا كَلْبٌ يَلْهَثُ يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ لَقَدْ بَلَغَ هَذَا الْكَلْبَ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ مِثْلُ الَّذِي كَانَ بَلَغَ بِي، فَنَزَلَ الْبِئْرَ فَمَلأَ خُفَّهُ، ثُمَّ أَمْسَكَهُ بِفِيهِ، فَسَقَى الْكَلْبَ، فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّ لَنَا فِي الْبَهَائِمِ أَجْرًا‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ فِي كُلِّ ذَاتِ كَبِدٍ رَطْبَةٍ أَجْرٌ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"baynamaa rajulun yamshiy bitariyqin ashtadda 'alayhi al'atashu، fawajada bi'rana fanazala fiyhaa fashariba thumma kharaja، fa'idhaa kalbun yalhathu ya'kulu alththaray mina al'atashi faqaala alrrajulu laqad balagha hadhaa alkalba mina al'atashi mithlu alladhiy kaana balagha biy، fanazala albi'ra famal'a khuffahu، thumma 'amsakahu bifiyhi، fasaqay alkalba، fashakara alllahu lahu faghafara lahu ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa yaa rasuwla alllahi wa'inna lanaa fiy albahaa'imi 'ajrana‏.‏ faqaala ‏\"‏ fiy kulli dhaati kabidin ratbahin 'ajrun ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":56400,"english_bab_name":"Being merciful to the people and to the animals","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Huraira:\n\n<p>Allah's Apostle said, \"While a man was walking on a road. he became very thirsty. Then he came \nacross a well, got down into it, drank (of its water) and then came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog \npanting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. The man said to himself \"This dog is suffering \nfrom the same state of thirst as I did.\" So he went down the well (again) and filled his shoe (with \nwater) and held it in his mouth and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave \nhim.\" The people asked, \"O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving the animals?\" He said, \n\"(Yes) There is a reward for serving any animate (living being) .\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
