{"id":5888,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"56","bab_id":178.0,"english_bab_number":"178","arabic_bab_number":"178","hadith_number":"3056, 3057","our_hadith_number":262,"arabic_urn":170721,"arabic_bab_name":"باب كَيْفَ يُعْرَضُ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى الصَّبِيِّ","arabic_text":"انْطَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ يَأْتِيَانِ النَّخْلَ الَّذِي فِيهِ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ، حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَ النَّخْلَ طَفِقَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَّقِي بِجُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ وَهْوَ يَخْتِلُ ابْنَ صَيَّادٍ أَنْ يَسْمَعَ مِنِ ابْنِ صَيَّادٍ شَيْئًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرَاهُ، وَابْنُ صَيَّادٍ مُضْطَجِعٌ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ فِي قَطِيفَةٍ لَهُ فِيهَا رَمْزَةٌ، فَرَأَتْ أُمُّ ابْنِ صَيَّادٍ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ يَتَّقِي بِجُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ، فَقَالَتْ لاِبْنِ صَيَّادٍ أَىْ صَافِ ـ وَهْوَ اسْمُهُ ـ فَثَارَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ لَوْ تَرَكَتْهُ بَيَّنَ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"antalaqa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm wa'ubayyu bnu ka'bin ya'tiyaani alnnakhla alladhiy fiyhi abnu sayyaadin، hattay 'idhaa dakhala alnnakhla tafiqa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm yattaqiy bijudhuw'i alnnakhli wahwa yakhtilu abna sayyaadin 'an yasma'a mini abni sayyaadin shay'ana qabla 'an yaraahu، waabnu sayyaadin mudtaji'un 'alay firaashihi fiy qatiyfahin lahu fiyhaa ramzahun، fara'at 'ummu abni sayyaadin alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm wahwa yattaqiy bijudhuw'i alnnakhli، faqaalat laibni sayyaadin 'ay saafi  wahwa asmuhu  fathaara abnu sayyaadin، faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ law tarakathu bayyana ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":28540,"english_bab_name":"How to present Islam to a (non-Muslim) boy","english_text":"<p>\n\n     Narrated Ibn Umar:\n<p>\n\n     (Later on) Allah's Apostle (once again) went along with Ubai bin Ka'b \n     to the garden of date-palms where Ibn Saiyad was staying. When the \n     Prophet entered the garden, he started hiding himself behind the \n     trunks of the date-palms as he wanted to hear something from the Ibn \n     Saiyad before the latter could see him. Ibn Saiyad was lying in his \n     bed, covered with a velvet sheet from where his murmurs were heard. \n     Ibn Saiyad's mother saw the Prophet while he was hiding himself behind\n     the trunks of the date-palms. She addressed Ibn Saiyad, \"O Saf!\" (And \n     this was his name). Ibn Saiyad got up. The Prophet said, \"Had this \n     woman let him to himself, he would have revealed the reality of his \n     case.\" Then the Prophet got up amongst the people, glorifying Allah as\n     He deserves, he mentioned Ad-Dajjal, saying, \"I warn you about him \n     (i.e. Ad-Dajjal) and there is no prophet who did not warn his nation \n     about him, and Noah warned his nation about him, but I tell you a \n     statement which no prophet informed his nation of. You should \n     understand that he is a one-eyed man and Allah is not one-eyed.\"\n<p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
