{"id":5712,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"56","bab_id":58.0,"english_bab_number":"58","arabic_bab_number":"58","hadith_number":"2870","our_hadith_number":86,"arabic_urn":168890,"arabic_bab_name":"باب غَايَةِ السَّبْقِ لِلْخَيْلِ الْمُضَمَّرَةِ","arabic_text":"بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي قَدْ أُضْمِرَتْ فَأَرْسَلَهَا مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ، وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا ثَنِيَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ لِمُوسَى فَكَمْ كَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ سِتَّةُ أَمْيَالٍ أَوْ سَبْعَةٌ‏.‏ وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُضَمَّرْ، فَأَرْسَلَهَا مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا مَسْجِدَ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ، قُلْتُ فَكَمْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ مِيلٌ أَوْ نَحْوُهُ‏.‏ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ مِمَّنْ سَابَقَ فِيهَا‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"bayna alkhayli allatiy qad 'udmirat fa'arsalahaa mina alhafyaa'i، wakaana 'amaduhaa thaniyyaha alwadaa'i‏.‏ faqultu limuwsay fakam kaana bayna dhalika qaala sittahu 'amyaalin 'aw sab'ahun‏.‏ wasaabaqa bayna alkhayli allatiy lam tudammar، fa'arsalahaa min thaniyyahi alwadaa'i، wakaana 'amaduhaa masjida baniy zurayqin، qultu fakam bayna dhalika qaala miylun 'aw nahwuhu‏.‏ wakaana abnu 'umara mimman saabaqa fiyhaa‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":26830,"english_bab_name":"The extreme limit of the race of horses","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu 'Is-haq from Musa bin `Uqba from Mafia from Ibn `Umar who said:\n\n<p>\"Allah's Apostle arranged a horse race amongst the horses that had been made lean, letting them start \nfrom Al-Hafya' and their limit (distance of running) was up to Thaniyat-al-Wada`. I asked Musa, \n'What was the distance between the two places?' Musa replied, 'Six or seven miles. He arranged a race \nof the horses which had not been made lean sending them from Thaniyat-al-Wada`, and their limit \nwas up to the mosque of Bani Zuraiq.' I asked, 'What was the distance between those two places?' He \nreplied 'One mile or so.'
