{"id":5557,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"96","bab_id":3.0,"english_bab_number":"3","arabic_bab_number":"3","hadith_number":"7297","our_hadith_number":28,"arabic_urn":164140,"arabic_bab_name":"باب مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ السُّؤَالِ وَتَكَلُّفِ مَا لاَ يَعْنِيهِ","arabic_text":"وَهْوَ يَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَى عَسِيبٍ، فَمَرَّ بِنَفَرٍ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ سَلُوهُ عَنِ الرُّوحِ‏.‏ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لاَ تَسْأَلُوهُ لاَ يُسْمِعْكُمْ مَا تَكْرَهُونَ‏.‏ فَقَامُوا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ حَدِّثْنَا عَنِ الرُّوحِ‏.‏ فَقَامَ سَاعَةً يَنْظُرُ فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ، فَتَأَخَّرْتُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى صَعِدَ الْوَحْىُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏{‏وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي‏}‏‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"wahwa yatawakka'u 'alay 'asiybin، famarra binafarin mina alyahuwdi faqaala ba'duhum saluwhu 'ani alrruwhi‏.‏ waqaala ba'duhum laa tas'aluwhu laa yusmi'kum maa takrahuwna‏.‏ faqaamuwa 'ilayhi faqaaluwa yaa 'abaa alqaasimi haddithnaa 'ani alrruwhi‏.‏ faqaama saa'ahan yanzuru fa'araftu 'annahu yuwhay 'ilayhi، fata'akhkhartu 'anhu hattay sa'ida alwahyu، thumma qaala ‏{‏wayas'aluwnaka 'ani alrruwhi quli alrruwhu min 'amri rabbiy‏}‏‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":68560,"english_bab_name":"Asking too many questions and troubling with what does not concern one","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Ibn Masud:\n\n<p>I was with the Prophet at one of the farms of Medina while he was leaning on a date palm leaf-stalk. \nHe passed by a group of Jews and some of them said to the other, Ask him (the Prophet) about the \nspirit. Some others said, \"Do not ask him, lest he should tell you what you dislike\" But they went up \nto him and said, \"O Abal Qasim! Inform us bout the spirit.\" The Prophet stood up for a while, waiting. \nI realized that he was being Divinely Inspired, so I kept away from him till the inspiration was over. \nThen the Prophet said, \"(O Muhammad) they ask you regarding the spirit, Say: The spirit its \nknowledge is with my Lord (i.e., nobody has its knowledge except Allah)\" (17.85) (This is a miracle \nof the Qur'an that all the scientists up till now do not know about the spirit, i.e, how life comes to a \nbody and how it goes away at its death) (See Hadith No. 245, Vol. 6)","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
