{"id":5369,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"92","bab_id":17.0,"english_bab_number":"17","arabic_bab_number":"17","hadith_number":"7097","our_hadith_number":48,"arabic_urn":162170,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْفِتْنَةِ الَّتِي تَمُوجُ كَمَوْجِ الْبَحْرِ","arabic_text":"ائْذَنْ لَهُ، وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَدَخَلَ فَجَاءَ عَنْ يَمِينِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَكَشَفَ عَنْ سَاقَيْهِ وَدَلاَّهُمَا فِي الْبِئْرِ، فَجَاءَ عُمَرُ فَقُلْتُ كَمَا أَنْتَ حَتَّى أَسْتَأْذِنَ لَكَ‏.‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ ائْذَنْ لَهُ، وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَجَاءَ عَنْ يَسَارِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَكَشَفَ عَنْ سَاقَيْهِ فَدَلاَّهُمَا فِي الْبِئْرِ، فَامْتَلأَ الْقُفُّ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ مَجْلِسٌ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُثْمَانُ فَقُلْتُ كَمَا أَنْتَ حَتَّى أَسْتَأْذِنَ لَكَ‏.‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ ائْذَنْ لَهُ، وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ، مَعَهَا بَلاَءٌ يُصِيبُهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَدَخَلَ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ مَعَهُمْ مَجْلِسًا، فَتَحَوَّلَ حَتَّى جَاءَ مُقَابِلَهُمْ عَلَى شَفَةِ الْبِئْرِ، فَكَشَفَ عَنْ سَاقَيْهِ ثُمَّ دَلاَّهُمَا فِي الْبِئْرِ‏.‏ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَمَنَّى أَخًا لِي وَأَدْعُو اللَّهَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ","arabic_transliteration":"a'dhan lahu، wabashshirhu bialjannahi ‏\"‏‏.‏ fadakhala fajaa'a 'an yamiyni alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm fakashafa 'an saaqayhi wadalaaahumaa fiy albi'ri، fajaa'a 'umaru faqultu kamaa 'anta hattay 'asta'dhina laka‏.‏ faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ a'dhan lahu، wabashshirhu bialjannahi ‏\"‏‏.‏ fajaa'a 'an yasaari alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm fakashafa 'an saaqayhi fadalaaahumaa fiy albi'ri، faamtal'a alquffu falam yakun fiyhi majlisun، thumma jaa'a 'uthmaanu faqultu kamaa 'anta hattay 'asta'dhina laka‏.‏ faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ a'dhan lahu، wabashshirhu bialjannahi، ma'ahaa balaa'un yusiybuhu ‏\"‏‏.‏ fadakhala falam yajid ma'ahum majlisana، fatahawwala hattay jaa'a muqaabilahum 'alay shafahi albi'ri، fakashafa 'an saaqayhi thumma dalaaahumaa fiy albi'ri‏.‏ faja'altu 'atamannay 'akhana liy wa'ad'uw alllaha 'an ya'tiya","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":66730,"english_bab_name":"Al-Fitnah that will move like the waves of the sea","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari:\n\n<p>The Prophet went out to one of the gardens of Medina for some business and I went out to follow him. \nWhen he entered the garden, I sat at its gate and said to myself, \"To day I will be the gatekeeper of the \nProphet though he has not ordered me.\" The Prophet went and finished his need and went to sit on the \nconstructed edge of the well and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well. In the meantime Abu \nBakr came and asked permission to enter. I said (to him), \"Wait till I get you permission.\" Abu Bakr \nwaited outside and I went to the Prophet and said, \"O Allah's Prophet! Abu Bakr asks your permission \nto enter.\" He said, \"Admit him, and give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise.\" So Abu Bakr \nentered and sat on the right side of the Prophet and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well. \nThen `Umar came and I said (to him), \"Wait till I get you permission.\" The Prophet said, \"Admit him \nand give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise.\" So `Umar entered and sat on the left side of the \nProphet and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well so that one side of the well became fully \noccupied and there remained no place for any-one to sit. Then `Uthman came and I said (to him), \n\"Wait till I get permission for you.\" The Prophet said, \"Admit him and give him the glad tidings of \nentering Paradise with a calamity which will befall him.\" When he entered, he could not find any \nplace to sit with them so he went to the other edge of the well opposite them and uncovered his legs \nand hung them in the well. I wished that a brother of mine would come, so I invoked Allah for his \ncoming. (Ibn Al-Musaiyab said, \"I interpreted that (narration) as indicating their graves.
