{"id":5368,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"92","bab_id":17.0,"english_bab_number":"17","arabic_bab_number":"17","hadith_number":"7096","our_hadith_number":47,"arabic_urn":162160,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْفِتْنَةِ الَّتِي تَمُوجُ كَمَوْجِ الْبَحْرِ","arabic_text":"فِتْنَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَجَارِهِ، تُكَفِّرُهَا الصَّلاَةُ وَالصَّدَقَةُ وَالأَمْرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْىُ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَنْ هَذَا أَسْأَلُكَ، وَلَكِنِ الَّتِي تَمُوجُ كَمَوْجِ الْبَحْرِ‏.‏ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ مِنْهَا بَأْسٌ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، إِنَّ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهَا بَابًا مُغْلَقًا‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ أَيُكْسَرُ الْبَابُ أَمْ يُفْتَحُ قَالَ بَلْ يُكْسَرُ‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ إِذًا لاَ يُغْلَقَ أَبَدًا‏.‏ قُلْتُ أَجَلْ‏.‏ قُلْنَا لِحُذَيْفَةَ أَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَعْلَمُ الْبَابَ قَالَ نَعَمْ كَمَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ دُونَ غَدٍ لَيْلَةً، وَذَلِكَ أَنِّي حَدَّثْتُهُ حَدِيثًا لَيْسَ بِالأَغَالِيطِ‏.‏ فَهِبْنَا أَنْ نَسْأَلَهُ مَنِ الْبَابُ فَأَمَرْنَا مَسْرُوقًا فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ مَنِ الْبَابُ قَالَ عُمَرُ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"fitnahu alrrajuli fiy 'ahlihi wamaalihi wawaladihi wajaarihi، tukaffiruhaa alssalaahu waalssadaqahu waal'amru bialma'ruwfi waalnnahyu 'ani almunkari ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala laysa 'an hadhaa 'as'aluka، walakini allatiy tamuwju kamawji albahri‏.‏ qaala laysa 'alayka minhaa ba'sun yaa 'amiyra almu'miniyna، 'inna baynaka wabaynahaa baabana mughlaqana‏.‏ qaala 'umaru 'ayuksaru albaabu 'am yuftahu qaala bal yuksaru‏.‏ qaala 'umaru 'idhana laa yughlaqa 'abadana‏.‏ qultu 'ajal‏.‏ qulnaa lihudhayfaha 'akaana 'umaru ya'lamu albaaba qaala na'am kamaa 'a'lamu 'anna duwna ghadin laylahan، wadhalika 'anniy haddathtuhu hadiythana laysa bial'aghaaliyti‏.‏ fahibnaa 'an nas'alahu mani albaabu fa'amarnaa masruwqana fasa'alahu faqaala mani albaabu qaala 'umaru‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":66720,"english_bab_name":"Al-Fitnah that will move like the waves of the sea","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Shaqiq:\n\n<p>I heard Hudhaifa saying, \"While we were sitting with `Umar, he said, 'Who among you remembers the \nstatement of the Prophet about the afflictions?' Hudhaifa said, \"The affliction of a man in his family, \nhis property, his children and his neighbors are expiated by his prayers, Zakat (and alms) and \nenjoining good and forbidding evil.\" `Umar said, \"I do not ask you about these afflictions, but about \nthose afflictions which will move like the waves of the sea.\" Hudhaifa said, \"Don't worry about it, O \nchief of the believers, for there is a closed door between you and them.\" `Umar said, \"Will that door \nbe broken or opened?\" I said, \"No. it will be broken.\" `Umar said, \"Then it will never be closed,\" I \nsaid, \"Yes.\" We asked Hudhaifa, \"Did `Umar know what that door meant?\" He replied, \"Yes, as I \nknow that there will be night before tomorrow morning, that is because I narrated to him a true \nnarration free from errors.\" We dared not ask Hudhaifa as to whom the door represented so we \nordered Masruq to ask him what does the door stand for?
