{"id":5109,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"86","bab_id":24.0,"english_bab_number":"24","arabic_bab_number":"24","hadith_number":"6819","our_hadith_number":47,"arabic_urn":159390,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الرَّجْمِ فِي الْبَلاَطِ","arabic_text":"مَا تَجِدُونَ فِي كِتَابِكُمْ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا إِنَّ أَحْبَارَنَا أَحْدَثُوا تَحْمِيمَ الْوَجْهِ وَالتَّجْبِيَةَ‏.‏ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ ادْعُهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِالتَّوْرَاةِ‏.‏ فَأُتِيَ بِهَا فَوَضَعَ أَحَدُهُمْ يَدَهُ عَلَى آيَةِ الرَّجْمِ، وَجَعَلَ يَقْرَأُ مَا قَبْلَهَا وَمَا بَعْدَهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ سَلاَمٍ ارْفَعْ يَدَكَ‏.‏ فَإِذَا آيَةُ الرَّجْمِ تَحْتَ يَدِهِ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرُجِمَا‏","arabic_transliteration":"maa tajiduwna fiy kitaabikum ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa 'inna 'ahbaaranaa 'ahdathuwa tahmiyma alwajhi waalttajbiyaha‏.‏ qaala 'abdu alllahi bnu salaamin ad'uhum yaa rasuwla alllahi bialttawraahi‏.‏ fa'utiya bihaa fawada'a 'ahaduhum yadahu 'alay 'aayahi alrrajmi، waja'ala yaqra'u maa qablahaa wamaa ba'dahaa faqaala lahu abnu salaamin arfa' yadaka‏.‏ fa'idhaa 'aayahu alrrajmi tahta yadihi، fa'amara bihimaa rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm farujimaa‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":64190,"english_bab_name":"The Rajm at the Balat","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Ibn `Umar:\n\n<p>A Jew and a Jewess were brought to Allah's Apostle on a charge of committing an illegal sexual \nintercourse. The Prophet asked them. \"What is the legal punishment (for this sin) in your Book \n(Torah)?\" They replied, \"Our priests have innovated the punishment of blackening the faces with \ncharcoal and Tajbiya.\" `Abdullah bin Salam said, \"O Allah's Apostle, tell them to bring the Torah.\" \nThe Torah was brought, and then one of the Jews put his hand over the Divine Verse of the Rajam \n(stoning to death) and started reading what preceded and what followed it. On that, Ibn Salam said to \nthe Jew, \"Lift up your hand.\" Behold! The Divine Verse of the Rajam was under his hand. So Allah's \nApostle ordered that the two (sinners) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned. Ibn `Umar added: \nSo both of them were stoned at the Balat and I saw the Jew sheltering the Jewess.","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
