{"id":5041,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"85","bab_id":18.0,"english_bab_number":"18","arabic_bab_number":"18","hadith_number":"6749","our_hadith_number":26,"arabic_urn":158660,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ حُرَّةً كَانَتْ أَوْ أَمَةً","arabic_text":"أَخِي وَابْنُ وَلِيدَةِ أَبِي، وُلِدَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ‏.‏ فَتَسَاوَقَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ابْنُ أَخِي قَدْ كَانَ عَهِدَ إِلَىَّ فِيهِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ أَخِي وَابْنُ وَلِيدَةِ أَبِي، وُلِدَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ هُوَ لَكَ يَا عَبْدُ بْنَ زَمْعَةَ، الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِسَوْدَةَ بِنْتِ زَمْعَةَ ‏\"‏ احْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ لِمَا رَأَى مِنْ شَبَهِهِ بِعُتْبَةَ، فَمَا رَآهَا حَتَّى لَقِيَ اللَّهَ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"'akhiy waabnu waliydahi 'abiy، wulida 'alay firaashihi‏.‏ fatasaawaqaa 'ilay alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala sa'dun yaa rasuwla alllahi abnu 'akhiy qad kaana 'ahida 'ilayya fiyhi‏.‏ faqaala 'abdu bnu zam'aha 'akhiy waabnu waliydahi 'abiy، wulida 'alay firaashihi‏.‏ faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ huwa laka yaa 'abdu bna zam'aha، alwaladu lilfiraashi walil'aahiri alhajaru ‏\"‏‏.‏ thumma qaala lisawdaha binti zam'aha ‏\"‏ ahtajibiy minhu ‏\"‏‏.‏ limaa ra'ay min shabahihi bi'utbaha، famaa ra'aahaa hattay laqiya alllaha‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":63500,"english_bab_name":"The child is for the owner of the bed","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated `Aisha:\n\n<p>`Utba (bin Abi Waqqas) said to his brother Sa`d, \"The son of the slave girl of Zam`a is my son, so be \nhis custodian.\" So when it was the year of the Conquest of Mecca, Sa`d took that child and said, \"He \nis my nephew, and my brother told me to be his custodian.\" On that, 'Abu bin Zam`a got up and said, \n'but the child is my brother, and the son of my father's slave girl as he was born on his bed.\" So they \nboth went to the Prophet. Sa`d said, \"O Allah's Apostle! (This is) the son of my brother and he told me \nto be his custodian.\" Then 'Abu bin Zam`a said, \"(But he is) my brother and the son of the slave girl of \nmy father, born on his bed.\" The Prophet said, \"This child is for you. O 'Abu bin Zam`a, as the child is \nfor the owner of the bed, and the adulterer receives the stones.\" He then ordered (his wife) Sauda bint \nZam`a to cover herself before that boy as he noticed the boy's resemblance to `Utba.
