{"id":50,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"2","bab_id":37.0,"english_bab_number":"37","arabic_bab_number":"37","hadith_number":"50","our_hadith_number":43,"arabic_urn":100500,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ سُؤَالِ جِبْرِيلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الإِيمَانِ وَالإِسْلاَمِ وَالإِحْسَانِ وَعِلْمِ السَّاعَةِ","arabic_text":"الإِيمَانُ أَنْ تُؤْمِنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَبِلِقَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ، وَتُؤْمِنَ بِالْبَعْثِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ مَا الإِسْلاَمُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ الإِسْلاَمُ أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَلاَ تُشْرِكَ بِهِ، وَتُقِيمَ الصَّلاَةَ، وَتُؤَدِّيَ الزَّكَاةَ الْمَفْرُوضَةَ، وَتَصُومَ رَمَضَانَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ مَا الإِحْسَانُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ كَأَنَّكَ تَرَاهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَرَاهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَرَاكَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ مَتَى السَّاعَةُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ مَا الْمَسْئُولُ عَنْهَا بِأَعْلَمَ مِنَ السَّائِلِ، وَسَأُخْبِرُكَ عَنْ أَشْرَاطِهَا إِذَا وَلَدَتِ الأَمَةُ رَبَّهَا، وَإِذَا تَطَاوَلَ رُعَاةُ الإِبِلِ الْبُهْمُ فِي الْبُنْيَانِ، فِي خَمْسٍ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُنَّ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ ثُمَّ تَلاَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏{‏إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ‏}‏ الآيَةَ‏.‏ ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ رُدُّوهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَلَمْ يَرَوْا شَيْئًا‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ جَاءَ يُعَلِّمُ النَّاسَ دِينَهُمْ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"al'iymaanu 'an tu'mina bialllahi wamalaa'ikatihi wabiliqaa'ihi warusulihi، watu'mina bialba'thi ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala maa al'islaamu qaala ‏\"‏ al'islaamu 'an ta'buda alllaha walaa tushrika bihi، watuqiyma alssalaaha، watu'addiya alzzakaaha almafruwdaha، watasuwma ramadaana ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala maa al'ihsaanu qaala ‏\"‏ 'an ta'buda alllaha ka'annaka taraahu، fa'in lam takun taraahu fa'innahu yaraaka ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala matay alssaa'ahu qaala ‏\"‏ maa almas'uwlu 'anhaa bi'a'lama mina alssaa'ili، wasa'ukhbiruka 'an 'ashraatihaa 'idhaa waladati al'amahu rabbahaa، wa'idhaa tataawala ru'aahu al'ibili albuhmu fiy albunyaani، fiy khamsin laa ya'lamuhunna 'ilaaa alllahu ‏\"‏‏.‏ thumma talaa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏{‏'inna alllaha 'indahu 'ilmu alssaa'ahi‏}‏ al'aayaha‏.‏ thumma 'adbara faqaala ‏\"‏ rudduwhu ‏\"‏‏.‏ falam yarawa shay'ana‏.‏ faqaala ‏\"‏ hadhaa jibriylu jaa'a yu'allimu alnnaasa diynahum ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":470,"english_bab_name":"The asking of (angel) Jibrll (Gabriel) from the Prophet (saws) about Iman, Islam, Ihsan and the knowledge of the Hour (Doomsday)","english_text":"<p>\n\n     Narrated Abu Huraira:\n<p>\n\n     One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, \n     (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, \"What is faith?\" Allah's Apostle \n     replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with\n     Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection.\" Then he further \n     asked, \"What is Islam?\" Allah's Apostle replied, \"To worship Allah \n     Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory \n     charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan.\"  \n     Then he further asked, \"What is Ihsan (perfection)?\" Allah's Apostle \n     replied, \"To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot \n     achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is \n     looking at you.\" Then he further asked, \"When will the Hour be \n     established?\" Allah's Apostle replied, \"The answerer has no better \n     knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its \n     portents.\n<p>\n\n     1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.\n<p>\n\n     2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing \n     with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is \n     one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.\n<p>\n\n     The Prophet then recited: \"Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge\n     of the Hour--.\" (31. 34) Then that man (Gabriel) left and the Prophet \n     asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. \n     Then the Prophet said, \"That was Gabriel who came to teach the people \n     their religion.\" Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all \n     that as a part of faith.\n<p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
