{"id":4795,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"81","bab_id":35.0,"english_bab_number":"35","arabic_bab_number":"35","hadith_number":"6497","our_hadith_number":86,"arabic_urn":156080,"arabic_bab_name":"باب رَفْعِ الأَمَانَةِ","arabic_text":"أَنَّ الأَمَانَةَ نَزَلَتْ فِي جَذْرِ قُلُوبِ الرِّجَالِ، ثُمَّ عَلِمُوا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ، ثُمَّ عَلِمُوا مِنَ السُّنَّةِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ رَفْعِهَا قَالَ ‏\"‏ يَنَامُ الرَّجُلُ النَّوْمَةَ فَتُقْبَضُ الأَمَانَةُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ، فَيَظَلُّ أَثَرُهَا مِثْلَ أَثَرِ الْوَكْتِ، ثُمَّ يَنَامُ النَّوْمَةَ فَتُقْبَضُ فَيَبْقَى أَثَرُهَا مِثْلَ الْمَجْلِ، كَجَمْرٍ دَحْرَجْتَهُ عَلَى رِجْلِكَ فَنَفِطَ، فَتَرَاهُ مُنْتَبِرًا، وَلَيْسَ فِيهِ شَىْءٌ، فَيُصْبِحُ النَّاسُ يَتَبَايَعُونَ فَلاَ يَكَادُ أَحَدٌ يُؤَدِّي الأَمَانَةَ، فَيُقَالُ إِنَّ فِي بَنِي فُلاَنٍ رَجُلاً أَمِينًا‏.‏ وَيُقَالُ لِلرَّجُلِ مَا أَعْقَلَهُ وَمَا أَظْرَفَهُ وَمَا أَجْلَدَهُ‏.‏ وَمَا فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةِ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ، وَلَقَدْ أَتَى عَلَىَّ زَمَانٌ وَمَا أُبَالِي أَيَّكُمْ بَايَعْتُ لَئِنْ كَانَ مُسْلِمًا رَدَّهُ الإِسْلاَمُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ نَصْرَانِيًّا رَدَّهُ عَلَىَّ سَاعِيهِ، فَأَمَّا الْيَوْمَ فَمَا كُنْتُ أُبَايِعُ إِلاَّ فُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"'anna al'amaanaha nazalat fiy jadhri quluwbi alrrijaali، thumma 'alimuwa mina alqur'aani، thumma 'alimuwa mina alssunnahi ‏\"‏‏.‏ wahaddathanaa 'an raf'ihaa qaala ‏\"‏ yanaamu alrrajulu alnnawmaha fatuqbadu al'amaanahu min qalbihi، fayazallu 'atharuhaa mithla 'athari alwakti، thumma yanaamu alnnawmaha fatuqbadu fayabqay 'atharuhaa mithla almajli، kajamrin dahrajtahu 'alay rijlika fanafita، fataraahu muntabirana، walaysa fiyhi shay'un، fayusbihu alnnaasu yatabaaya'uwna falaa yakaadu 'ahadun yu'addiy al'amaanaha، fayuqaalu 'inna fiy baniy fulaanin rajulaan 'amiynana‏.‏ wayuqaalu lilrrajuli maa 'a'qalahu wamaa 'azrafahu wamaa 'ajladahu‏.‏ wamaa fiy qalbihi mithqaalu habbahi khardalin min 'iymaanin، walaqad 'atay 'alayya zamaanun wamaa 'ubaaliy 'ayyakum baaya'tu la'in kaana muslimana raddahu al'islaamu، wa'in kaana nasraaniyyana raddahu 'alayya saa'iyhi، fa'ammaa alyawma famaa kuntu 'ubaayi'u 'ilaaa fulaanana wafulaanana ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":61120,"english_bab_name":"The disappearance of Al-Amanah","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Hudhaifa:\n\n<p>Allah's Apostle narrated to us two narrations, one of which I have seen (happening) and I am waiting \nfor the other. He narrated that honesty was preserved in the roots of the hearts of men (in the \nbeginning) and then they learnt it (honesty) from the Qur'an, and then they learnt it from the \n(Prophet's) Sunna (tradition). He also told us about its disappearance, saying, \"A man will go to sleep \nwhereupon honesty will be taken away from his heart, and only its trace will remain, resembling the \ntraces of fire. He then will sleep whereupon the remainder of the honesty will also be taken away \n(from his heart) and its trace will resemble a blister which is raised over the surface of skin, when an \nember touches one's foot; and in fact, this blister does not contain anything. So there will come a day \nwhen people will deal in business with each other but there will hardly be any trustworthy persons \namong them. Then it will be said that in such-and-such a tribe there is such-and-such person who is \nhonest, and a man will be admired for his intelligence, good manners and strength, though indeed he \nwill not have belief equal to a mustard seed in his heart.\" The narrator added: There came upon me a \ntime when I did not mind dealing with anyone of you, for if he was a Muslim, his religion would \nprevent him from cheating; and if he was a Christian, his Muslim ruler would prevent him from \ncheating; but today I cannot deal except with so-and-so and so-and-so.
