{"id":4642,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"80","bab_id":24.0,"english_bab_number":"24","arabic_bab_number":"24","hadith_number":"6342","our_hadith_number":39,"arabic_urn":154480,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الدُّعَاءِ غَيْرَ مُسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةِ","arabic_text":"بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَسْقِيَنَا‏.‏ فَتَغَيَّمَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَمُطِرْنَا، حَتَّى مَا كَادَ الرَّجُلُ يَصِلُ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ، فَلَمْ تَزَلْ تُمْطَرُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الْمُقْبِلَةِ، فَقَامَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ أَوْ غَيْرُهُ فَقَالَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَصْرِفَهُ عَنَّا، فَقَدْ غَرِقْنَا‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلاَ عَلَيْنَا ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَجَعَلَ السَّحَابُ يَتَقَطَّعُ حَوْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ، وَلاَ يُمْطِرُ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"baynaa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm yakhtubu yawma aljumu'ahi faqaama rajulun faqaala yaa rasuwla alllahi ad'u alllaha 'an yasqiyanaa‏.‏ fataghayyamati alssamaa'u wamutirnaa، hattay maa kaada alrrajulu yasilu 'ilay manzilihi، falam tazal tumtaru 'ilay aljumu'ahi almuqbilahi، faqaama dhalika alrrajulu 'aw ghayruhu faqaala ad'u alllaha 'an yasrifahu 'annaa، faqad ghariqnaa‏.‏ faqaala ‏\"‏ alllahumma hawaalaynaa walaa 'alaynaa ‏\"‏‏.‏ faja'ala alssahaabu yataqatta'u hawla almadiynahi، walaa yumtiru 'ahla almadiynahi‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":59610,"english_bab_name":"To invoke Allah while not facing the Qiblah","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Anas:\n\n<p>While the Prophet was delivering a sermon on a Friday, a man stood up and said, \"O Allah's Apostle! \nInvoke Allah to bless us with rain.\" (The Prophet invoked Allah for rain.) So, the sky became overcast \nand it started raining till one could hardly reach one's home. It kept on raining till the next Friday \nwhen the same man or another man got up and said (to the Prophet), \"Invoke Allah to withhold the \nrain from us, for we have been drowned (with heavy rain ).\" The Prophet said, \"O Allah! Let it rain \naround us and not on us.\" Then the clouds started dispersing around Medina and rain ceased to fall on \nthe people of Medina.","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
