{"id":4236,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"75","bab_id":15.0,"english_bab_number":"15","arabic_bab_number":"15","hadith_number":"5663","our_hadith_number":23,"arabic_urn":148720,"arabic_bab_name":"باب عِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا وَرِدْفًا عَلَى الْحِمَارِ","arabic_text":"رَكِبَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ عَلَى إِكَافٍ عَلَى قَطِيفَةٍ فَدَكِيَّةٍ، وَأَرْدَفَ أُسَامَةَ وَرَاءَهُ يَعُودُ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ قَبْلَ وَقْعَةِ بَدْرٍ فَسَارَ حَتَّى مَرَّ بِمَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَىٍّ ابْنُ سَلُولَ وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، وَفِي الْمَجْلِسِ أَخْلاَطٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ عَبَدَةِ الأَوْثَانِ وَالْيَهُودِ، وَفِي الْمَجْلِسِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ، فَلَمَّا غَشِيَتِ الْمَجْلِسَ عَجَاجَةُ الدَّابَّةِ خَمَّرَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَىٍّ أَنْفَهُ بِرِدَائِهِ، قَالَ لاَ تُغَيِّرُوا عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَوَقَفَ وَنَزَلَ فَدَعَاهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَىٍّ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَرْءُ إِنَّهُ لاَ أَحْسَنَ مِمَّا تَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ حَقًّا، فَلاَ تُؤْذِنَا بِهِ فِي مَجْلِسِنَا، وَارْجِعْ إِلَى رَحْلِكَ فَمَنْ جَاءَكَ فَاقْصُصْ عَلَيْهِ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَاغْشَنَا بِهِ فِي مَجَالِسِنَا فَإِنَّا نُحِبُّ ذَلِكَ فَاسْتَبَّ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ وَالْيَهُودُ حَتَّى كَادُوا يَتَثَاوَرُونَ فَلَمْ يَزَلِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى سَكَتُوا فَرَكِبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَابَّتَهُ حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ ‏\"‏ أَىْ سَعْدُ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ مَا قَالَ أَبُو حُبَابٍ ‏\"‏‏.‏ يُرِيدُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أُبَىٍّ‏.‏ قَالَ سَعْدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اعْفُ عَنْهُ وَاصْفَحْ فَلَقَدْ أَعْطَاكَ اللَّهُ مَا أَعْطَاكَ وَلَقَدِ اجْتَمَعَ أَهْلُ هَذِهِ الْبَحْرَةِ أَنْ يُتَوِّجُوهُ فَيُعَصِّبُوهُ فَلَمَّا رَدَّ ذَلِكَ بِالْحَقِّ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ شَرِقَ بِذَلِكَ، فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي فَعَلَ بِهِ مَا رَأَيْتَ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"rakiba 'alay himaarin 'alay 'ikaafin 'alay qatiyfahin fadakiyyahin، wa'ardafa 'usaamaha waraa'ahu ya'uwdu sa'da bna 'ubaadaha qabla waq'ahi badrin fasaara hattay marra bimajlisin fiyhi 'abdu alllahi bnu 'ubayyin abnu saluwla wadhalika qabla 'an yuslima 'abdu alllahi، wafiy almajlisi 'akhlaatun mina almuslimiyna waalmushrikiyna 'abadahi al'awthaani waalyahuwdi، wafiy almajlisi 'abdu alllahi bnu rawaahaha، falammaa ghashiyati almajlisa 'ajaajahu alddaabbahi khammara 'abdu alllahi bnu 'ubayyin 'anfahu biridaa'ihi، qaala laa tughayyiruwa 'alaynaa fasallama alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm wawaqafa wanazala fada'aahum 'ilay alllahi faqara'a 'alayhimu alqur'aana، faqaala lahu 'abdu alllahi bnu 'ubayyin yaa 'ayyuhaa almar'u 'innahu laa 'ahsana mimmaa taquwlu 'in kaana haqqana، falaa tu'dhinaa bihi fiy majlisinaa، waarji' 'ilay rahlika faman jaa'aka faaqsus 'alayhi‏.‏ qaala abnu rawaahaha balay yaa rasuwla alllahi faaghshanaa bihi fiy majaalisinaa fa'innaa nuhibbu dhalika faastabba almuslimuwna waalmushrikuwna waalyahuwdu hattay kaaduwa yatathaawaruwna falam yazali alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm hattay sakatuwa farakiba alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm daabbatahu hattay dakhala 'alay sa'di bni 'ubaadaha faqaala lahu ‏\"‏ 'ay sa'du 'alam tasma' maa qaala 'abuw hubaabin ‏\"‏‏.‏ yuriydu 'abda alllahi bna 'ubayyin‏.‏ qaala sa'dun yaa rasuwla alllahi a'fu 'anhu waasfah falaqad 'a'taaka alllahu maa 'a'taaka walaqadi ajtama'a 'ahlu hadhihi albahrahi 'an yutawwijuwhu fayu'assibuwhu falammaa radda dhalika bialhaqqi alladhiy 'a'taaka shariqa bidhalika، fadhalika alladhiy fa'ala bihi maa ra'ayta‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":53150,"english_bab_name":"To visit a patient riding, walking or sitting with another person on a donkey","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Usama bin Zaid:\n\n<p>The Prophet rode a donkey having a saddle with a Fadakiyya velvet covering. He mounted me behind \nhim and went to visit Sa`d bin 'Ubada, and that had been before the battle of Badr. The Prophet \nproceeded till he passed by a gathering in which `Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul was present, and that \nhad been before `Abdullah embraced Islam. The gathering comprised of Muslims, polytheists, i.e., \nisolators and Jews. `Abdullah bin Rawaha was also present in that gathering. When dust raised by the \ndonkey covered the gathering, `Abdullah bin Ubai covered his nose with his upper garment and said, \n\"Do not trouble us with dust.\" The Prophet greeted them, stopped and dismounted. Then he invited \nthem to Allah (i.e., to embrace Islam) and recited to them some verses of the Holy Qur'an. On that, \n`Abdullah bin Ubai said, \"O man ! There is nothing better than what you say if it is true. Do not \ntrouble us with it in our gathering, but return to your house, and if somebody comes to you, teach him \nthere.\" On that `Abdullah bin Rawaha said, Yes, O Allah's Apostle! Bring your teachings to our \ngathering, for we love that.\" So the Muslims, the pagans and the Jews started abusing each other till \nthey were about to fight. The Prophet kept on quietening them till they became calm. Thereupon the \nProphet mounted his animal and proceeded till he entered upon Sa`d bin Ubada. He said to him \"O \nSa`d! Have you not heard what Abu Hubab (i.e., `Abdullah bin Ubai) said?\" Sa`d said, 'O Allah's \nApostle! Excuse and forgive him, for Allah has given you what He has given you. The people of this \ntown (Medina decided unanimously to crown him and make him their chief by placing a turban on his \nhead, but when that was prevented by the Truth which Allah had given you he (`Abdullah bin Ubai) \nwas grieved out of jealously, and that was the reason which caused him to behave in the way you have \nseen.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
