{"id":4069,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"72","bab_id":12.0,"english_bab_number":"12","arabic_bab_number":"12","hadith_number":"5494","our_hadith_number":20,"arabic_urn":146990,"arabic_bab_name":"باب قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى ‏<A id=\"q8\" name=\"q8\" href=\"javascript:openquran(4,96,96)\"><c_q8>{‏أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ‏}</c_q8></a>‏","arabic_text":"بَعَثَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثَلاَثَمِائَةِ رَاكِبٍ وَأَمِيرُنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ نَرْصُدُ عِيرًا لِقُرَيْشٍ فَأَصَابَنَا جُوعٌ شَدِيدٌ حَتَّى أَكَلْنَا الْخَبَطَ، فَسُمِّيَ جَيْشَ الْخَبَطِ وَأَلْقَى الْبَحْرُ حُوتًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الْعَنْبَرُ فَأَكَلْنَا نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ وَادَّهَنَّا بِوَدَكِهِ حَتَّى صَلَحَتْ أَجْسَامُنَا قَالَ فَأَخَذَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ ضِلَعًا مِنْ أَضْلاَعِهِ فَنَصَبَهُ فَمَرَّ الرَّاكِبُ تَحْتَهُ، وَكَانَ فِينَا رَجُلٌ فَلَمَّا اشْتَدَّ الْجُوعُ نَحَرَ ثَلاَثَ جَزَائِرَ، ثُمَّ ثَلاَثَ جَزَائِرَ، ثُمَّ نَهَاهُ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"ba'athanaa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm thalaathamia'ahi raakibin wa'amiyrunaa 'abuw 'ubaydaha narsudu 'iyrana liqurayshin fa'asaabanaa juw'un shadiydun hattay 'akalnaa alkhabata، fasummiya jaysha alkhabati wa'alqay albahru huwtana yuqaalu lahu al'anbaru fa'akalnaa nisfa shahrin waaddahannaa biwadakihi hattay salahat 'ajsaamunaa qaala fa'akhadha 'abuw 'ubaydaha dila'ana min 'adlaa'ihi fanasabahu famarra alrraakibu tahtahu، wakaana fiynaa rajulun falammaa ashtadda aljuw'u nahara thalaatha jazaa'ira، thumma thalaatha jazaa'ira، thumma nahaahu 'abuw 'ubaydaha‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":51470,"english_bab_name":"\"Lawful to you is water-game and its use for food .... For the benefit of yourselves","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Jabir:\n\n<p>The Prophet sent us as an army unit of three hundred warriors under the command of Abu 'Ubaida to \nambush a caravan of the Quraish. But we were struck with such severe hunger that we ate the Khabt \n(desert bushes), so our army was called the Army of the Khabt. Then the sea threw a huge fish called \nAl-`Anbar and we ate of it for half a month and rubbed our bodies with its fat till our bodies became \nhealthy. Then Abu Ubaida took one of its ribs and fixed it over the ground and a rider passed \nunderneath it. There was a man amongst us who slaughtered three camels when hunger became \nsevere, and he slaughtered three more, but after that Abu 'Ubaida forbade him to do so.","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
