{"id":39828,"collection_id":14,"collection":"ahmad","collection_name":"Musnad Ahmad","book_number":"5","bab_id":0.0,"english_bab_number":null,"arabic_bab_number":null,"hadith_number":"1380","our_hadith_number":778,"arabic_urn":5313080,"arabic_bab_name":null,"arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعِ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّةَ الْوَادِعِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، ذِي مُرٍّ قَالَ أَبْصَرْنَا عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشُكُّ فِي الْمَضْمَضَةِ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقِ ثَلَاثًا ذَكَرَهَا أَمْ لَا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً فَمَسَحَ بِهَا رَأْسَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَشَرِبَ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abd alllahi، haddathaniy sufyaanu bnu wakiy'i bni aljarraahi، haddathanaa 'abiy، 'an 'abiyhi، 'an 'abiy 'ishaaqa، 'an 'abiy hayyaha alwaadi'iyyi، 'an 'amrinw، dhiy murrin qaala 'absarnaa 'aliyyana radiya alllahu 'anhu tawadda'a faghasala yadayhi wamadmada waastanshaqa qaala wa'anaa 'ashukku fiy almadmadahi waaliastinshaaqi thalaathana dhakarahaa 'am laa waghasala wajhahu thalaathana wayadayhi thalaathana kulla waahidahin minhumaa thalaathana wamasaha bira'sihi wa'udhunayhi qaala 'ahaduhumaa thumma 'akhadha gharfahan famasaha bihaa ra'sahu thumma qaama fashariba fadla waduw'ihi thumma qaala hakadhaa kaana alnnabiyyu sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama yatawadda'u","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":5013800,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"It was narrated that Abu Hayyah al-Wadiʼi and `Amr Dhu Murr said: We saw ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) doing wudoo’. He washed his hands and rinsed his mouth and nose – he said: I am not sure about rinsing the mouth and nose three times, and whether he mentioned it or not - and he washed his face three times, and his arms three times, washing each one three times, and he wiped his head and his ears. Then he took a handful of water and wiped his head with it, then he stood up straight and drank the leftover water.
