{"id":39438,"collection_id":14,"collection":"ahmad","collection_name":"Musnad Ahmad","book_number":"5","bab_id":0.0,"english_bab_number":null,"arabic_bab_number":null,"hadith_number":"963","our_hadith_number":388,"arabic_urn":5309170,"arabic_bab_name":null,"arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ قَاعِدًا عِنْدَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ فَجَاءَ صَعْصَعَةُ بْنُ صُوحَانَ فَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ انْهَنَا عَمَّا نَهَاكَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ نَهَانَا عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَنَهَانَا عَنْ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ وَعَنْ الْحَرِيرِ وَالْحِلَقِ الذَّهَبِ ثُمَّ قَالَ كَسَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُلَّةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَخَرَجْتُ فِيهَا لِيَرَ النَّاسُ عَلَيَّ كِسْوَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَرَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَنِي بِنَزْعِهِمَا فَأَرْسَلَ بِإِحْدَاهُمَا إِلَى فَاطِمَةَ وَشَقَّ الْأُخْرَى بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'aliyyu bnu 'aasimin، 'anba'anaa 'ismaa'iylu bnu sumay'in، 'an maaliki bni 'umayrin، qaala kuntu qaa'idana 'inda 'aliyyin radiya alllahu 'anhu qaala fajaa'a sa'sa'ahu bnu suwhaana fasallama thumma qaama faqaala yaa 'amiyra almu'miniyna anhanaa 'ammaa nahaaka 'anhu rasuwlu alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama faqaala nahaanaa 'an alddubbaa'i waalhantami waalmuzaffati waalnnaqiyri wanahaanaa 'an alqassiyyi waalmiytharahi alhamraa'i wa'an alhariyri waalhilaqi aldhdhahabi thumma qaala kasaaniy rasuwlu alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama hullahan min hariyrin fakharajtu fiyhaa liyara alnnaasu 'alayya kiswaha rasuwli alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama qaala fara'aaniy rasuwlu alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama fa'amaraniy binaz'ihimaa fa'arsala bi'ihdaahumaa 'ilay faatimaha washaqqa al'ukhray bayna nisaa'ihi‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":5009630,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"It was narrated that Malik bin `Umair said: I was sitting with `Ali (رضي الله عنه) and Sa`sa`ah bin Soohan came in and greeted him, then he said: O Ameer al-Mu`mineen, forbid to us that which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade you. He said: He forbade us to use gourds, green glazed pitchers, varnished jars and hollowed-out stumps, and he forbade us to wear a blend of linen and silk, to use red saddle cloths, silk and gold jewellery. Then he said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave me a suit of silk and I went out wearing it so that people would see me wearing a garment that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had given to me. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw me and told me to take it off, so I sent one piece to Fatimah and I tore the other and shared it out among his wives.","english_grade":"Sahih because of corroborating evidence and Ali bin Asim is da'eef]","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
