{"id":3910,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"68","bab_id":46.0,"english_bab_number":"46","arabic_bab_number":"46","hadith_number":"5337","our_hadith_number":82,"arabic_urn":145380,"arabic_bab_name":"باب تُحِدُّ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا","arabic_text":"قَالَ حُمَيْدٌ فَقُلْتُ لِزَيْنَبَ وَمَا تَرْمِي بِالْبَعَرَةِ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْحَوْلِ فَقَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ كَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ إِذَا تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا دَخَلَتْ حِفْشًا، وَلَبِسَتْ شَرَّ ثِيَابِهَا، وَلَمْ تَمَسَّ طِيبًا حَتَّى تَمُرَّ بِهَا سَنَةٌ، ثُمَّ تُؤْتَى بِدَابَّةٍ حِمَارٍ أَوْ شَاةٍ أَوْ طَائِرٍ فَتَفْتَضُّ بِهِ، فَقَلَّمَا تَفْتَضُّ بِشَىْءٍ إِلاَّ مَاتَ، ثُمَّ تَخْرُجُ فَتُعْطَى بَعَرَةً فَتَرْمِي، ثُمَّ تُرَاجِعُ بَعْدُ مَا شَاءَتْ مِنْ طِيبٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ‏.‏ سُئِلَ مَالِكٌ مَا تَفْتَضُّ بِهِ قَالَ تَمْسَحُ بِهِ جِلْدَهَا‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"qaala humaydun faqultu lizaynaba wamaa tarmiy bialba'arahi 'alay ra'si alhawli faqaalat zaynabu kaanati almar'ahu 'idhaa tuwuffiya 'anhaa zawjuhaa dakhalat hifshana، walabisat sharra thiyaabihaa، walam tamassa tiybana hattay tamurra bihaa sanahun، thumma tu'tay bidaabbahin himaarin 'aw shaahin 'aw taa'irin fataftaddu bihi، faqallamaa taftaddu bishay'in 'ilaaa maata، thumma takhruju fatu'tay ba'arahan fatarmiy، thumma turaaji'u ba'du maa shaa'at min tiybin 'aw ghayrihi‏.‏ su'ila maalikun maa taftaddu bihi qaala tamsahu bihi jildahaa‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":49936,"english_bab_name":"A widow should mourn for four months and ten days.","english_text":"I (Humaid) said to Zainab, \"What does 'throwing a globe of dung when one \nyear had elapsed' mean?\" Zainab said, \"When a lady was bereaved of her husband, she would live in a \nwretched small room and put on the worst clothes she had and would not touch any scent till one year \nhad elapsed. Then she would bring an animal, e.g. a donkey, a sheep or a bird and rub her body \nagainst it. The animal against which she would rub her body would scarcely survive. Only then she \nwould come out of her room, whereupon she would be given a globe of dung which she would throw \naway and then she would use the scent she liked or the like.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
