{"id":39044,"collection_id":14,"collection":"ahmad","collection_name":"Musnad Ahmad","book_number":"4","bab_id":0.0,"english_bab_number":null,"arabic_bab_number":null,"hadith_number":"554","our_hadith_number":146,"arabic_urn":5305230,"arabic_bab_name":null,"arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، أَنْبَأَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنْتُ قَائِمًا عِنْدَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ قُلْنَا بَلَى فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ إِلَى مِرْفَقَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abd alllahi، haddathaniy wahbu bnu baqiyyaha alwaasitiyyu، 'anba'anaa khaalidun ya'niy abna 'abdi alllahi، 'ani aljurayriyyi، 'an 'urwaha bni qabiysaha، 'an rajulin، min al'ansaari 'an 'abiyhi، qaala kuntu qaa'imana 'inda 'uthmaana bni 'affaana radiya alllahu 'anhu faqaala 'alaa 'unabbi'ukum kayfa kaana rasuwlu alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama yatawadda'u qulnaa balay fada'aa bimaa'in faghasala wajhahu thalaathana wamadmada waastanshaqa thalaathana thumma ghasala yadayhi 'ilay mirfaqayhi thalaathana thumma masaha bira'sihi wa'udhunayhi waghasala rijlayhi thalaathana thumma qaala hakadhaa kaana rasuwlu alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama yatawadda'u‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":5005540,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"It was narrated from one of the Ansar that his father said: I was standing with ‘Uthman bin `Affan (رضي الله عنه) and he said: Shall I not tell you how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)  did wudoo`? We said: Yes indeed. He called for water and washed his face three times, rinsed his mouth and nose three times, then he washed his hands up to the elbow three times, then he wiped his head and his ears, and washed his feet three times.
