{"id":38925,"collection_id":14,"collection":"ahmad","collection_name":"Musnad Ahmad","book_number":"4","bab_id":0.0,"english_bab_number":null,"arabic_bab_number":null,"hadith_number":"429","our_hadith_number":27,"arabic_urn":5304020,"arabic_bab_name":null,"arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَلَا أُرِيكُمْ كَيْفَ كَانَ وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا بَلَى فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَتَمَضْمَضَ ثَلَاثًا وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثًا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْأُذُنَيْنِ مِنْ الرَّأْسِ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَدْ تَحَرَّيْتُ لَكُمْ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa yaziydu bnu haaruwna، 'anba'anaa aljurayriyyu، 'an 'urwaha bni qabiysaha، 'an rajulin، min al'ansaari 'an 'abiyhi، 'anna 'uthmaana، radiya alllahu 'anhu qaala 'alaa 'uriykum kayfa kaana wuduw'u rasuwli alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama qaaluwa balay fada'aa bimaa'in fatamadmada thalaathana waastanthara thalaathana waghasala wajhahu wadhiraa'ayhi thalaathana wamasaha bira'sihi waghasala qadamayhi thalaathana thumma qaala waa'lamuwa 'anna al'udhunayni min alrra'si thumma qaala qad taharraytu lakum wuduw'a rasuwli alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":5004290,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"It was narrated from one of the Ansar, from his father, that `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) said: Shall l not show you how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)  did wudoo? They said: Yes. So he called for water, and he rinsed his mouth three times and his nose three times, and he washed his face and arms three times, and he wiped his head and washed his feet three times. Then he said: You should know that the ears are part of the head. Then he said: I have tried to do wudoo’ for you as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did it.","english_grade":"Sahih hadeeth.
