{"id":38637,"collection_id":14,"collection":"ahmad","collection_name":"Musnad Ahmad","book_number":"2","bab_id":0.0,"english_bab_number":null,"arabic_bab_number":null,"hadith_number":"120","our_hadith_number":38,"arabic_urn":5301150,"arabic_bab_name":null,"arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ حُمْرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ كُلَالٍ، قَالَ سَارَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى الشَّامِ بَعْدَ مَسِيرِهِ الْأَوَّلِ كَانَ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى إِذَا شَارَفَهَا بَلَغَهُ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ أَنَّ الطَّاعُونَ فَاشٍ فِيهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ ارْجِعْ وَلَا تَقَحَّمْ عَلَيْهِ فَلَوْ نَزَلْتَهَا وَهُوَ بِهَا لَمْ نَرَ لَكَ الشُّخُوصَ عَنْهَا فَانْصَرَفَ رَاجِعًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَعَرَّسَ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ تِلْكَ وَأَنَا أَقْرَبُ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُ فَلَمَّا انْبَعَثَ انْبَعَثْتُ مَعَهُ فِي أَثَرِهِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ رَدُّونِي عَنْ الشَّامِ بَعْدَ أَنْ شَارَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ لِأَنَّ الطَّاعُونَ فِيهِ أَلَا وَمَا مُنْصَرَفِي عَنْهُ مُؤَخِّرٌ فِي أَجَلِي وَمَا كَانَ قُدُومِيهِ مُعَجِّلِي عَنْ أَجَلِي أَلَا وَلَوْ قَدْ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَفَرَغْتُ مِنْ حَاجَاتٍ لَا بُدَّ لِي مِنْهَا لَقَدْ سِرْتُ حَتَّى أَدْخُلَ الشَّامَ ثُمَّ أَنْزِلَ حِمْصَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيَبْعَثَنَّ اللَّهُ مِنْهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا لَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا عَذَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَبْعَثُهُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ الزَّيْتُونِ وَحَائِطِهَا فِي الْبَرْثِ الْأَحْمَرِ مِنْهَا‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abuw alyamaani alhakamu bnu naafi'in، haddathanaa 'abuw bakri bnu 'abdi alllahi، 'an raashidi bni sa'din، 'an humraha bni 'abdi kulaalin، qaala saara 'umaru bnu alkhattaabi radiya alllahu 'anhu 'ilay alshshaami ba'da masiyrihi al'awwali kaana 'ilayhaa hattay 'idhaa shaarafahaa balaghahu waman ma'ahu 'anna alttaa'uwna faashin fiyhaa faqaala lahu 'ashaabuhu arji' walaa taqahham 'alayhi falaw nazaltahaa wahuwa bihaa lam nara laka alshshukhuwsa 'anhaa faansarafa raaji'ana 'ilay almadiynahi fa'arrasa min laylatihi tilka wa'anaa 'aqrabu alqawmi minhu falammaa anba'atha anba'athtu ma'ahu fiy 'atharihi fasami'tuhu yaquwlu radduwniy 'an alshshaami ba'da 'an shaaraftu 'alayhi li'anna alttaa'uwna fiyhi 'alaa wamaa munsarafiy 'anhu mu'akhkhirun fiy 'ajaliy wamaa kaana quduwmiyhi mu'ajjiliy 'an 'ajaliy 'alaa walaw qad qadimtu almadiynaha fafaraghtu min haajaatin laa budda liy minhaa laqad sirtu hattay 'adkhula alshshaama thumma 'anzila himsa fa'inniy sami'tu rasuwla alllahi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama yaquwlu layab'athanna alllahu minhaa yawma alqiyaamahi sab'iyna 'alfana laa hisaaba 'alayhim walaa 'adhaaba 'alayhim mab'athuhum fiymaa bayna alzzaytuwni wahaa'itihaa fiy albarthi al'ahmari minhaa‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":5001200,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"It was narrated that Humrah bin 'Abd Kulal said: Umar bin al-Khattab travelled to Syria for the second time and when he approached it, he and those who were with him heard that the plague was widespread therein. His companions said to him: Go back and do not enter it, for if you enter it when (the plague) is in it, we do not think that you should leave it. So he set off, heading back to Madinah, and he stopped to rest at the end of that night. I was the closest of the people to him, and when he woke up, I woke up with him and followed him, and I heard him say: They turned me away from Syria after I had got close to it because the plague was there. It would be a good idea to go to Madinah and finish some work that I have to do there, then I will go and enter Syria and stay in Homs, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will resurrect from it seventy thousand without any reckoning or punishment, and their place of resurrection will be between the olive trees and the garden at al-Barth al Ahmar near (Homs).`","english_grade":"Da'of (Darussalam) [ because of the weakness of Abu Bakr bin 'Abdullah and Humrah bin Abd Kulal]","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
