{"id":38562,"collection_id":14,"collection":"ahmad","collection_name":"Musnad Ahmad","book_number":"1","bab_id":0.0,"english_bab_number":null,"arabic_bab_number":null,"hadith_number":"41","our_hadith_number":40,"arabic_urn":5300400,"arabic_bab_name":null,"arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا فَجَاءَ مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ فَاعْتَرَفَ عِنْدَهُ مَرَّةً فَرَدَّهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ عِنْدَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ فَرَدَّهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَرَدَّهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّكَ إِنْ اعْتَرَفْتَ الرَّابِعَةَ رَجَمَكَ قَالَ فَاعْتَرَفَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَحَبَسَهُ ثُمَّ سَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا مَا نَعْلَمُ إِلَّا خَيْرًا قَالَ فَأَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'aswadu bnu 'aamirin، haddathanaa 'israa'iylu، 'an jaabirin، 'an 'aamirin، 'an 'abdi alrrahmani bni 'abzay، 'an 'abiy bakrin، qaala kuntu 'inda alnnabiyyi sallay alllahu 'alayhi wasallama jaalisana fajaa'a maa'izu bnu maalikin faa'tarafa 'indahu marrahan faraddahu thumma jaa'ahu faa'tarafa 'indahu alththaaniyaha faraddahu thumma jaa'ahu faa'tarafa alththaalithaha faraddahu faqultu lahu 'innaka 'in a'tarafta alrraabi'aha rajamaka qaala faa'tarafa alrraabi'aha fahabasahu thumma sa'ala 'anhu faqaaluwa maa na'lamu 'illaa khayrana qaala fa'amara birajmihi‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":5000410,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"It was narrated from Jabir from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abza that Abu Bakr 4 said: I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) when Ma'iz bin Malik came and confessed (to adultery) in his presence once, and he sent him away. Then he came and admitted it in his presence a second time and he sent him away. Then he came and admitted it in his presence a third time and he sent him away. I said to him: If you confess a fourth time, he will stone you. Then he admitted it the fourth time, so he detained him and asked about him, and they said: We do not know anything but good about him.
