{"id":38133,"collection_id":13,"collection":"adab","collection_name":"Al-Adab Al-Mufrad","book_number":"35","bab_id":378.0,"english_bab_number":"378","arabic_bab_number":"378","hadith_number":"852","our_hadith_number":11,"arabic_urn":2308500,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ مَنْ كَنَّى رَجُلاً بِشَيْءٍ هُوَ فِيهِ أَوْ بِأَحَدِهِمْ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، إِنْ كَانَتْ أَحَبَّ أَسْمَاءِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَيْهِ لَأَبُو تُرَابٍ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَيَفْرَحُ أَنْ يُدْعَى بِهَا، وَمَا سَمَّاهُ أَبَا تُرَابٍ إِلاَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، غَاضَبَ يَوْمًا فَاطِمَةَ، فَخَرَجَ فَاضْطَجَعَ إِلَى الْجِدَارِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، وَجَاءَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتْبَعُهُ، فَقَالَ‏:‏ هُوَ ذَا مُضْطَجِعٌ فِي الْجِدَارِ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَدِ امْتَلَأَ ظَهْرُهُ تُرَابًا، فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَمْسَحُ التُّرَابَ عَنْ ظَهْرِهِ وَيَقُولُ‏:‏ اجْلِسْ أَبَا تُرَابٍ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa khaalidu bnu makhladin، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa sulaymaanu bnu bilaalin qaala‏:‏ haddathaniy 'abuw haazimin، 'an sahli bni sa'din، 'in kaanat 'ahabba 'asmaa'i 'aliyyin radiya alllahu 'anhu 'ilayhi la'abuw turaabin، wa'in kaana layafrahu 'an yud'ay bihaa، wamaa sammaahu 'abaa turaabin 'ilaaa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm، ghaadaba yawmana faatimaha، fakharaja faadtaja'a 'ilay aljidaari 'ilay almasjidi، wajaa'ahu alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm yatba'uhu، faqaala‏:‏ huwa dhaa mudtaji'un fiy aljidaari، fajaa'a alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm waqadi amtala'a zahruhu turaabana، faja'ala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm yamsahu altturaaba 'an zahrihi wayaquwlu‏:‏ ajlis 'abaa turaabin‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صـحـيـح","english_urn":2208080,"english_bab_name":"Someone who gives a man of kunya because of something he is doing or with one of their names","english_text":"Sahl ibn Sa'd related that the name which 'Ali, may Allah be pleased\nwith him, liked best was Abu Turab and that he was happy when he was called\nthat. Only the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called\nhim that. One day 'Ali was cross with Fatima and went out and reclined\nagainst the wall of the mosque. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant\nhim peace, came to look for him and was told that he was leaning against\nthe wall. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went up\nto him and found that his back was covered with dust.
