{"id":38009,"collection_id":13,"collection":"adab","collection_name":"Al-Adab Al-Mufrad","book_number":"31","bab_id":302.0,"english_bab_number":"302","arabic_bab_number":"302","hadith_number":"728","our_hadith_number":125,"arabic_urn":2307260,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ مَنْ كَرِهَ الدُّعَاءَ بِالْبَلاءِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ دَخَلَ، قُلْتُ لِحُمَيْدٍ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ نَعَمْ، دَخَلَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ قَدْ جَهِدَ مِنَ الْمَرَضِ، فَكَأَنَّهُ فَرْخٌ مَنْتُوفٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ ادْعُ اللَّهَ بِشَيْءٍ أَوْ سَلْهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَنْتَ مُعَذِّبِي بِهِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، فَعَجِّلْهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، قَالَ‏:‏ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، لاَ تَسْتَطِيعُهُ، أَوَ قَالَ‏:‏ لاَ تَسْتَطِيعُوا، أَلاَ قُلْتَ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ‏؟‏ وَدَعَا لَهُ، فَشَفَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'ahmadu bnu yuwnusa، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa zuhayrun، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa humaydun، 'an 'anasin qaala‏:‏ dakhala، qultu lihumaydin alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm‏؟‏ qaala‏:‏ na'am، dakhala 'alay rajulin qad jahida mina almaradi، faka'annahu farkhun mantuwfun، qaala‏:‏ ad'u alllaha bishay'in 'aw salhu، faja'ala yaquwlu‏:‏ alllahumma maa 'anta mu'adhdhibiy bihi fiy al'aakhirahi، fa'ajjilhu fiy alddunyaa، qaala‏:‏ subhaana allhi، laa tastatiy'uhu، 'awa qaala‏:‏ laa tastatiy'uwa، 'alaa qulta‏:‏ alllahumma 'aatinaa fiy alddunyaa hasanahan، wafiy al'aakhirahi hasanahan، waqinaa 'adhaaba alnnaari‏؟‏ wada'aa lahu، fashafaahu alllahu 'azza wajalla‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صـحـيـح","english_urn":2206996,"english_bab_name":"It is Makrooh to request involvement in trial","english_text":"Anas said that the Prophet (saws) visited a sick man who had withered from sickness to such an extent that he could be compared to a bridling whose feathers had been plucked out. The Prophet (saws) said to him, \"Make supplication for health.\" So, he began to supplicate Allah, \" O Allah whatever punishment you intend to give me in the hereafter, give it to me here, in this life\". The Prophet (saws) said, \"Subhan Allah! You are not able to bear that. Why did you not make this supplication?: O Allah, grant us what is good in this world and what is good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.\" Then the Prophet (saws) made a supplication for him and Allah, the Mighty, the Gracious, gave him cure from sickness.","english_grade":"","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
