{"id":37976,"collection_id":13,"collection":"adab","collection_name":"Al-Adab Al-Mufrad","book_number":"31","bab_id":291.0,"english_bab_number":"291","arabic_bab_number":"291","hadith_number":"695","our_hadith_number":92,"arabic_urn":2306930,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ دَعَوَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ بِتُّ عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَتَى حَاجَتَهُ، فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ نَامَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَأَتَى الْقِرْبَةَ فَأَطْلَقَ شِنَاقَهَا، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا بَيْنَ وُضُوءَيْنِ، لَمْ يُكْثِرْ وَقَدْ أَبْلَغَ، فَصَلَّى، فَقُمْتُ فَتَمَطَّيْتُ كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَرَى أَنِّي كُنْتُ أَبْقِيهِ، فَتَوَضَّأْتُ، فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي، فَقُمْتُ عِنْدَ يَسَارِهِ، فَأَخَذَ بِأُذُنِي فَأَدَارَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، فَتَتَامَّتْ صَلاَتُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ فَنَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ، وَكَانَ إِذَا نَامَ نَفَخَ، فَآذَنَهُ بِلاَلٌ بِالصَّلاَةِ، فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ، وَكَانَ فِي دُعَائِهِ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَسَارِي نُورًا، وَفَوْقِي نُورًا، وَتَحْتِي نُورًا، وَأَمَامِي نُورًا، وَخَلْفِي نُورًا، وَأَعْظِمْ لِي نُورًا‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'aliyyu bnu 'abdi allhi، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa abnu mahdiyyin، 'an sufyaana، 'an salamaha bni kuhaylin، 'an kuraybin، 'ani abni 'abbaasin qaala‏:‏ bittu 'inda maymuwnaha، faqaama alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm fa'atay haajatahu، faghasala wajhahu wayadayhi thumma naama، thumma qaama fa'atay alqirbaha fa'atlaqa shinaaqahaa، thumma tawadda'a wuduw'ana bayna wuduw'ayni، lam yukthir waqad 'ablagha، fasallay، faqumtu fatamattaytu karaahiyaha 'an yaray 'anniy kuntu 'abqiyhi، fatawadda'tu، faqaama yusalliy، faqumtu 'inda yasaarihi، fa'akhadha bi'udhuniy fa'adaaraniy 'an yamiynihi، fatataammat salaatuhu mina alllayli thalaatha 'ashraha rak'ahan، thumma adtaja'a fanaama hattay nafakha، wakaana 'idhaa naama nafakha، fa'aadhanahu bilaalun bialssalaahi، fasallay walam yatawadda'، wakaana fiy du'aa'ihi‏:‏ alllahumma aj'al fiy qalbiy nuwrana، wafiy sam'iy nuwrana، wa'an yamiyniy nuwrana، wa'an yasaariy nuwrana، wafawqiy nuwrana، watahtiy nuwrana، wa'amaamiy nuwrana، wakhalfiy nuwrana، wa'a'zim liy nuwrana‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صـحـيـح","english_urn":2206810,"english_bab_name":"The supplications of the Prophet, may Allah bless","english_text":"Ibn 'Abbas said, \"I spent the night at the house of my aunt. Maymuna.\nThe Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, got up to answer\na call of nature and then washed his hands and face and slept. Then he\ngot up and took the water-skin and loosened its strap and then did a medium\nsort of wudu' and no more but he did it adequately. Then he prayed. I stood\nup and went slowly, not wanting him to see that I was observing him. I\ndid wudu'. Then he stood up to pray and I stood at his left. He took my\nhand and brought me around to his right. His complete night prayer consisted\nof twelve rak'ats. Then he lay down and went to sleep until he snored.\nWhen he slept, he would snore. Bilal gave the adhan for the morning prayer\nand he prayed without doing wudu'. One of his supplications was, 'O Allah,\nput light in my heart and light in my hearing and light on my right and\nlight on my left and a light above me and a light behind me and a light\nin front of me and a light behind him and make my light great.'\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
