{"id":37898,"collection_id":13,"collection":"adab","collection_name":"Al-Adab Al-Mufrad","book_number":"31","bab_id":277.0,"english_bab_number":"277","arabic_bab_number":"277","hadith_number":"617","our_hadith_number":14,"arabic_urn":2306150,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ سَيِّدِ الاسْتِغْفَارِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ سَيِّدُ الاسْتِغْفَارِ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ‏.‏ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ‏.‏ إِذَا قَالَ حِينَ يُمْسِي فَمَاتَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ‏:‏ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِذَا قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ مِثْلَهُ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa musaddadun، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa yaziydu bnu zuray'in، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa husaynun، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa 'abdu allhi bnu buraydaha، 'an bushayri bni ka'bin، 'an shaddaadi bni 'awsin، 'ani alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm qaala‏:‏ sayyidu alastighfaari‏:‏ alllahumma 'anta rabbiy laa 'ilaha 'ilaaa 'anta، khalaqtaniy wa'anaa 'abduka، wa'anaa 'alay 'ahdika wawa'dika maa astata'tu، 'abuw'u laka bini'matika، wa'abuw'u laka bidhanbiy، faaghfir liy، fa'innahu laa yaghfiru aldhdhunuwba 'ilaaa 'anta‏.‏ 'a'uwdhu bika min sharri maa sana'tu‏.‏ 'idhaa qaala hiyna yumsiy famaata dakhala aljannaha، 'aw‏:‏ kaana min 'ahli aljannahi، wa'idhaa qaala hiyna yusbihu famaata min yawmihi mithlahu‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صـحـيـح","english_urn":2206020,"english_bab_name":"The best way of asking for forgiveness","english_text":"Shaddad ibn Aws reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him\nand grant him peace, said, \"The best way of asking forgiveness is 'O Allah,\nYou are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your\nslave. I follow Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I acknowledge\nYour blessing and I confess to my wrong actions, so forgive me. Only You\ncan forgive wrong actions. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what\nI have done.' If he says it in the evening and then dies, he will enter\nthe Garden - or he said that he will be one of the people of the Garden.\nIf he says it in the morning and dies that day - it is the same.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
