{"id":37466,"collection_id":13,"collection":"adab","collection_name":"Al-Adab Al-Mufrad","book_number":"7","bab_id":71.0,"english_bab_number":"71","arabic_bab_number":"71","hadith_number":"129","our_hadith_number":1,"arabic_urn":2301290,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ الْكَرَمِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَكْرَمُ‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ أَكْرَمُهُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ أَتْقَاهُمْ، قَالُوا‏:‏ لَيْسَ عَنْ هَذَا نَسْأَلُكَ، قَالَ‏:‏ فَأَكْرَمُ النَّاسِ يُوسُفُ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ابْنُ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ابْنِ خَلِيلِ اللهِ، قَالُوا‏:‏ لَيْسَ عَنْ هَذَا نَسْأَلُكَ، قَالَ‏:‏ فَعَنْ مَعَادِنِ الْعَرَبِ تَسْأَلُونِي‏؟‏ قَالُوا‏:‏ نَعَمْ، قَالَ‏:‏ فَخِيَارُكُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارُكُمْ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ إِذَا فَقِهُوا‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa muhammadu bnu salaamin، qaala‏:‏ 'akhbaranaa 'abdahu، 'an 'ubaydi allhi، 'an sa'iydi bni 'abiy sa'iydin، 'an 'abiy hurayraha qaala‏:‏ su'ila rasuwlu allhi sly allh 'lyh wslm‏:‏ 'ayyu alnnaasi 'akramu‏؟‏ qaala‏:‏ 'akramuhum 'inda allhi 'atqaahum، qaaluwa‏:‏ laysa 'an hadhaa nas'aluka، qaala‏:‏ fa'akramu alnnaasi yuwsufu nabiyyu allhi abnu nabiyyi allhi abni khaliyli allhi، qaaluwa‏:‏ laysa 'an hadhaa nas'aluka، qaala‏:‏ fa'an ma'aadini al'arabi tas'aluwniy‏؟‏ qaaluwa‏:‏ na'am، qaala‏:‏ fakhiyaarukum fiy aljaahiliyyahi khiyaarukum fiy al'islaami 'idhaa faqihuwa‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صـحـيـح","english_urn":2201300,"english_bab_name":"Generosity","english_text":"Abu Hurayra said, \"The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant\nhim peace, was asked, 'Which people are the most generous?'' He said, 'The\nmost generous of people was Yusuf, the Prophet of Allah, son of the Prophet\nof Allah, who was the son of the Intimate Friend of Allah (Ibrahim).' They\nsaid, 'That is not what we are asking about.' He said, 'Are you asking about\nthose of Arab origin?' 'Yes,' they replied.
