{"id":37371,"collection_id":13,"collection":"adab","collection_name":"Al-Adab Al-Mufrad","book_number":"1","bab_id":18.0,"english_bab_number":"18","arabic_bab_number":"18","hadith_number":"34","our_hadith_number":34,"arabic_urn":2300340,"arabic_bab_name":"بَابُ عَرْضِ الإِسْلاَمِ عَلَى الأُمِّ النَّصْرَانِيَّةِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَثِيرٍ السُّحَيْمِيُّ قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ‏:‏ مَا سَمِعَ بِي أَحَدٌ، يَهُودِيٌّ وَلاَ نَصْرَانِيٌّ، إِلاَّ أَحَبَّنِي، إِنَّ أُمِّي كُنْتُ أُرِيدُهَا عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ فَتَأْبَى، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا، فَأَبَتْ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ‏:‏ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهَا، فَدَعَا، فَأَتَيْتُهَا، وَقَدْ أَجَافَتْ عَلَيْهَا الْبَابَ، فَقَالَتْ‏:‏ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، إِنِّي أَسْلَمْتُ، فَأَخْبَرْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ‏:‏ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لِي وَلِأُمِّي، فَقَالَ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ، عَبْدُكَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَأُمُّهُ، أَحِبَّهُمَا إِلَى النَّاسِ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abuw alwaliydi hishaamu bnu 'abdi almaliki، qaala‏:‏ haddathanaa 'ikrimahu bnu 'ammaarin qaala‏:‏ haddathaniy 'abuw kathiyrin alssuhaymiyyu qaala‏:‏ sami'tu 'abaa hurayraha yaquwlu‏:‏ maa sami'a biy 'ahadun، yahuwdiyyun walaa nasraaniyyun، 'ilaaa 'ahabbaniy، 'inna 'ummiy kuntu 'uriyduhaa 'alay al'islaami fata'bay، faqultu lahaa، fa'abat، fa'ataytu alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm faqultu‏:‏ ad'u alllaha lahaa، fada'aa، fa'ataytuhaa، waqad 'ajaafat 'alayhaa albaaba، faqaalat‏:‏ yaa 'abaa hurayraha، 'inniy 'aslamtu، fa'akhbartu alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm faqultu‏:‏ ad'u alllaha liy wali'ummiy، faqaala‏:‏ alllahumma، 'abduka 'abuw hurayraha wa'ummuhu، 'ahibbahumaa 'ilay alnnaasi‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حـسـن","english_urn":2200350,"english_bab_name":"Offering Islam to a Christian mother","english_text":"Abu Hurayra said, \"Neither Jew nor Christian has heard me and then not\nloved me. He did so and I went\nto her. She was inside the door of the house and said, 'Abu Hurayra, I have\nbecome Muslim.' I told the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,\nand I asked, 'Make supplication to Allah for me and my mother.'
