{"id":3471,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"64","bab_id":70.0,"english_bab_number":"70","arabic_bab_number":"70","hadith_number":"4376, 4377","our_hadith_number":401,"arabic_urn":140061,"arabic_bab_name":"باب وَفْدِ بَنِي حَنِيفَةَ، وَحَدِيثِ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ أُثَالٍ","arabic_text":"كُنَّا نَعْبُدُ الْحَجَرَ، فَإِذَا وَجَدْنَا حَجَرًا هُوَ أَخْيَرُ مِنْهُ أَلْقَيْنَاهُ وَأَخَذْنَا الآخَرَ، فَإِذَا لَمْ نَجِدْ حَجَرًا جَمَعْنَا جُثْوَةً مِنْ تُرَابٍ، ثُمَّ جِئْنَا بِالشَّاةِ فَحَلَبْنَاهُ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ طُفْنَا بِهِ، فَإِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَجَبٍ قُلْنَا مُنَصِّلُ الأَسِنَّةِ‏.‏ فَلاَ نَدَعُ رُمْحًا فِيهِ حَدِيدَةٌ وَلاَ سَهْمًا فِيهِ حَدِيدَةٌ إِلاَّ نَزَعْنَاهُ وَأَلْقَيْنَاهُ شَهْرَ رَجَبٍ‏.‏ وَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَجَاءٍ، يَقُولُ كُنْتُ يَوْمَ بُعِثَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم غُلاَمًا أَرْعَى الإِبِلَ عَلَى أَهْلِي، فَلَمَّا سَمِعْنَا بِخُرُوجِهِ فَرَرْنَا إِلَى النَّارِ إِلَى مُسَيْلِمَةَ الْكَذَّابِ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"kunnaa na'budu alhajara، fa'idhaa wajadnaa hajarana huwa 'akhyaru minhu 'alqaynaahu wa'akhadhnaa al'aakhara، fa'idhaa lam najid hajarana jama'naa juthwahan min turaabin، thumma ji'naa bialshshaahi fahalabnaahu 'alayhi، thumma tufnaa bihi، fa'idhaa dakhala shahru rajabin qulnaa munassilu al'asinnahi‏.‏ falaa nada'u rumhana fiyhi hadiydahun walaa sahmana fiyhi hadiydahun 'ilaaa naza'naahu wa'alqaynaahu shahra rajabin‏.‏ wasami'tu 'abaa rajaa'in، yaquwlu kuntu yawma bu'itha alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ghulaamana 'ar'ay al'ibila 'alay 'ahliy، falammaa sami'naa bikhuruwjihi fararnaa 'ilay alnnaari 'ilay musaylimaha alkadhdhaabi‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":40670,"english_bab_name":"The delegation of Banu Hanifa","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Raja Al-Utaridi:\n\n<p>We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the \nfirst one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) \nand then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it. When the month \nof Rajab came, we used (to stop the military actions), calling this month the iron remover, for we used \nto remove and throw away the iron parts of every spear and arrow in the month of Rajab. Abu Raja' \nadded: When the Prophet sent with (Allah's) Message, I was a boy working as a shepherd of my \nfamily camels.
