{"id":34334,"collection_id":8,"collection":"hisn","collection_name":"Hisn al-Muslim","book_number":"1","bab_id":26.0,"english_bab_number":"26","arabic_bab_number":"26","hadith_number":"74","our_hadith_number":74,"arabic_urn":1520740,"arabic_bab_name":"دعاء صلاة الاستخارة","arabic_text":"قال جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، يُعلمنا الاستخارة في الأمور كلها كما يعلمُنا السورة من القرآن ، يقول : إذا هم أحدكم بالأمر فليركع ركعتين من غير الفريضة ، ثم ليقل: \"اللهم إني أستخيرك بعلمك ، وأستقدرك بقدرتك ، وأسألك من فضلك العظيم فإنك تقدِرُ ولا أقدِرُ ، وتعلم ولا أعلم ، وأنت علام الغيوب ، اللهم إن كنت تعلم أن هذا الأمر - يسمي حاجته - خير لي في ديني ومعاشي وعاقبة أمري - أو قال : عاجله وآجله - فاقدره لي ويسره لي ، ثم بارك لي فيه ، وإن كنت تعلم أن هذا الأمر شر لي في ديني ومعاشي وعاقبة أمري - أو قال : عاجله وآجله - فاصرفه عني واصرفني عنه ، واقدر لي الخير حيث كان ، ثم ارضني به \" <br>وما ندم من استخار الخالق، وشاور المخلوقين المؤمنين وتثبَّت في أمره، فقد قال سبحانه ﴿وَشـاوِرْهُـم في الأمْـرِ فَـإِذا عَـزَمْـتَ فَتَوَكّـلْ عَلـى الله﴾","arabic_transliteration":"qal jabr bn 'bd allh rdy allh 'nhma : kan rswl allh sly allh 'lyh wslm ، yu'lmna alastkharh fy al'mwr klha kma y'lmuna alswrh mn alqr'aan ، yqwl : 'dha hm 'hdkm bal'mr flyrk' rk'tyn mn ghyr alfrydh ، thm lyql: \"allhm 'ny 'stkhyrk b'lmk ، w'stqdrk bqdrtk ، w's'lk mn fdlk al'zym f'nk tqdiru wla 'qdiru ، wt'lm wla ''lm ، w'nt 'lam alghywb ، allhm 'n knt t'lm 'n hdha al'mr - ysmy hajth - khyr ly fy dyny wm'ashy w'aqbh 'mry - 'w qal : 'ajlh w'aajlh - faqdrh ly wysrh ly ، thm bark ly fyh ، w'n knt t'lm 'n hdha al'mr shr ly fy dyny wm'ashy w'aqbh 'mry - 'w qal : 'ajlh w'aajlh - fasrfh 'ny wasrfny 'nh ، waqdr ly alkhyr hyth kan ، thm ardny bh \" <br>wma ndm mn astkhar alkhalq، wshawr almkhlwqyn alm'mnyn wtthbbat fy 'mrh، fqd qal sbhanh ﴿washawirhum fy al'mri fa'idha 'azamta fatawakkl 'aly allh﴾","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":1420742,"english_bab_name":"For seeking guidance in forming a decision or choosing the proper course","english_text":"Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) said: The Prophet (SAW) used to teach us to seek Allah's Counsel in all matters, as he used to teach us a Surah from the Qur'an. He would say: When anyone of you has an important matter to decide, let him pray two Rak'ahs other than the obligatory prayer, and then say:\n<span class=\"transliteration\">Allāhumma innī astakhīruka bi `ilmik,\nwa astaqdiruka biqudratik, \nwa as'aluka min faḍlika ‘l-`Aẓīm, \nfa'innaka taqdiru wa lā aqdir, \nwa ta`lamu wa lā a`lam, \nwa anta `allāmu ‘l-ghuyūb, \nAllāhumma in kunta ta`lamu anna hādha ‘l-amra - [then mention the thing to be decided]\nKhayrun lī fī dīnī wa ma`āshī wa `āqibati amrī - [or say] `ājilihi wa ājilih - \nfaqdurhu lī wa yassirhu lī \nthumma bārik lī fīh, \nwa in kunta ta`lamu anna hādha ‘l-amra\nsharrun lī fī dīnī wa ma`āshī wa `āqibati 'amrī - [or say] `ājilihi wa 'ājilihi - \nfaṣrifhu `annī waṣrifnī  `anh, \nwaqdur liya ‘l-khayra ḥaythu kān, \nthumma arḍinī bih.\n</span>\n\n<span class=\"translation\">\n\"O Allah, I seek the counsel of Your Knowledge, \nand I seek the help of Your Omnipotence, \nand I beseech You for Your Magnificent Grace. \nSurely, You are Capable and I am not. \nYou know and I know not, \nand You are the Knower of the unseen. \nO Allah, if You know that this matter [then mention the thing to be decided] \nis good for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, - [or say: in this life and the afterlife] - \nthen ordain it for me and make it easy for me, then bless me in it. \nAnd if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, - [or say: in this life and the afterlife] - \nthen distance it from me, and distance me from it, \nand ordain for me what is good wherever it may be, \nand help me to be content with it.\"</span>\n\nWhoever seeks the counsel of the Creator will not regret it and whoever seeks the advice of the believers will feel confident about his decisions, for Allah has said in the Qur'an:\n\n\"And consult them in the affair.
