{"id":3323,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"64","bab_id":38.0,"english_bab_number":"38","arabic_bab_number":"38","hadith_number":"4213","our_hadith_number":253,"arabic_urn":138490,"arabic_bab_name":"باب غَزْوَةُ خَيْبَرَ","arabic_text":"أَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَ خَيْبَرَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ ثَلاَثَ لَيَالٍ يُبْنَى عَلَيْهِ بِصَفِيَّةَ، فَدَعَوْتُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَى وَلِيمَتِهِ، وَمَا كَانَ فِيهَا مِنْ خُبْزٍ وَلاَ لَحْمٍ، وَمَا كَانَ فِيهَا إِلاَّ أَنْ أَمَرَ بِلاَلاً بِالأَنْطَاعِ فَبُسِطَتْ، فَأَلْقَى عَلَيْهَا التَّمْرَ وَالأَقِطَ وَالسَّمْنَ، فَقَالَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُهُ قَالُوا إِنْ حَجَبَهَا فَهْىَ إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَحْجُبْهَا فَهْىَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُهُ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا ارْتَحَلَ وَطَّأَ لَهَا خَلْفَهُ، وَمَدَّ الْحِجَابَ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"'aqaama alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm bayna khaybara waalmadiynahi thalaatha layaalin yubnay 'alayhi bisafiyyaha، fada'awtu almuslimiyna 'ilay waliymatihi، wamaa kaana fiyhaa min khubzin walaa lahmin، wamaa kaana fiyhaa 'ilaaa 'an 'amara bilaalaan bial'antaa'i fabusitat، fa'alqay 'alayhaa alttamra waal'aqita waalssamna، faqaala almuslimuwna 'ihday 'ummahaati almu'miniyna، 'aw maa malakat yamiynuhu qaaluwa 'in hajabahaa fahya 'ihday 'ummahaati almu'miniyna، wa'in lam yahjubhaa fahya mimmaa malakat yamiynuhu‏.‏ falammaa artahala watta'a lahaa khalfahu، wamadda alhijaaba‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":39300,"english_bab_name":"Ghazwa of Khaibar","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Anas:\n\n<p>The Prophet stayed for three rights between Khaibar and Medina and was married to Safiya. I invited \nthe Muslim to h s marriage banquet and there wa neither meat nor bread in that banquet but the \nProphet ordered Bilal to spread the leather mats on which dates, dried yogurt and butter were put. The \nMuslims said amongst themselves, \"Will she (i.e. Safiya) be one of the mothers of the believers, (i.e. \none of the wives of the Prophet ) or just (a lady captive) of what his right-hand possesses\" Some of \nthem said, \"If the Prophet makes her observe the veil, then she will be one of the mothers of the \nbelievers (i.e. one of the Prophet's wives), and if he does not make her observe the veil, then she will \nbe his lady slave.\" So when he departed, he made a place for her behind him (on his and made her \nobserve the veil.","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
