{"id":32607,"collection_id":6,"collection":"ibnmajah","collection_name":"Sunan Ibn Majah","book_number":"24","bab_id":9.0,"english_bab_number":"9","arabic_bab_number":"9","hadith_number":"2772","our_hadith_number":20,"arabic_urn":1328780,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْخُرُوجِ فِي النَّفِيرِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ ذُكِرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ كَانَ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ أَشْجَعَ النَّاسِ وَلَقَدْ فَزِعَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ لَيْلَةً فَانْطَلَقُوا قِبَلَ الصَّوْتِ فَتَلَقَّاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَدْ سَبَقَهُمْ إِلَى الصَّوْتِ وَهُوَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ لأَبِي طَلْحَةَ عُرْىٍ مَا عَلَيْهِ سَرْجٌ فِي عُنُقِهِ السَّيْفُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ ‏\"‏ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَنْ تُرَاعُوا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ يَرُدُّهُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلْفَرَسِ ‏\"‏ وَجَدْنَاهُ بَحْرًا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ أَوْ ‏\"‏ إِنَّهُ لَبَحْرٌ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ أَوْ غَيْرُهُ قَالَ كَانَ فَرَسًا لأَبِي طَلْحَةَ يُبَطَّأُ فَمَا سُبِقَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'ahmadu bnu 'abdaha، 'anba'anaa hammaadu bnu zaydin، 'an thaabitin، 'an 'anasi bni maalikin، qaala dhukira alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala kaana 'ahsana alnnaasi wakaana 'ajwada alnnaasi wakaana 'ashja'a alnnaasi walaqad fazi'a 'ahlu almadiynahi laylahan faantalaquwa qibala alssawti fatalaqqaahum rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm waqad sabaqahum 'ilay alssawti wahuwa 'alay farasin l'abiy talhaha 'uryin maa 'alayhi sarjun fiy 'unuqihi alssayfu wahuwa yaquwlu ‏\"‏ yaa 'ayyuhaa alnnaasu lan turaa'uwa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ yarudduhum thumma qaala lilfarasi ‏\"‏ wajadnaahu bahrana ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ 'aw ‏\"‏ 'innahu labahrun ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala hammaadun wahaddathaniy thaabitun 'aw ghayruhu qaala kaana farasana l'abiy talhaha yubatta'u famaa subiqa ba'da dhalika alyawmi ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":1276210,"english_bab_name":"Going in response to a general call to arms","english_text":"It was\nnarrated from Hammad bin Zaid from Thabit, that the Prophet\n(saw) was\nmentioned before Anas bin Malik and he said: “He was the\nbest of\npeople, the most generous of people, the most courageous of\npeople.\nThe people of Al-Madinah became alarmed one night, and he was\nthe\nfirst of them to investigate the noise and din. He was riding a\nhorse\nbelonging to Abu Talhah, bareback, with no saddle. His sword was\nhanging from his neck and he was saying: ‘O people, do not be\nafraid,’\nsending them back to their houses. Then he said of the\nhorse, ‘We\nfound it like a sea,’ or, ‘It is a sea.’”*","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
