{"id":32588,"collection_id":6,"collection":"ibnmajah","collection_name":"Sunan Ibn Majah","book_number":"24","bab_id":1.0,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"2753","our_hadith_number":1,"arabic_urn":1328590,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فَضْلِ الْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ لاَ يُخْرِجُهُ إِلاَّ جِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِي وَإِيمَانٌ بِي وَتَصْدِيقٌ بِرُسُلِي فَهُوَ عَلَىَّ ضَامِنٌ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ أَرْجِعَهُ إِلَى مَسْكَنِهِ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْهُ نَائِلاً مَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏\"‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا قَعَدْتُ خِلاَفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَخْرُجُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا وَلَكِنْ لاَ أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ وَلاَ يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِي وَلاَ تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَيَتَخَلَّفُونَ بَعْدِي وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أَغْزُوَ فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أَغْزُوَ فَأُقْتَلَ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abuw bakri bnu 'abiy shaybaha، haddathanaa muhammadu bnu fudaylin، 'an 'umaaraha bni alqa'qaa'i، 'an 'abiy zur'aha، 'an 'abiy hurayraha، qaala qaala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ 'a'adda alllahu liman kharaja fiy sabiylihi laa yukhrijuhu 'ilaaa jihaadun fiy sabiyliy wa'iymaanun biy watasdiyqun birusuliy fahuwa 'alayya daaminun 'an 'udkhilahu aljannaha 'aw 'arji'ahu 'ilay maskanihi alladhiy kharaja minhu naa'ilaan maa naala min 'ajrin 'aw ghaniymahin ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ thumma qaala ‏\"‏ waalladhiy nafsiy biyadihi lawlaa 'an 'ashuqqa 'alay almuslimiyna maa qa'adtu khilaafa sariyyahin takhruju fiy sabiyli alllahi 'abadana walakin laa 'ajidu sa'ahan fa'ahmilahum walaa yajiduwna sa'ahan fayattabi'uwniy walaa tatiybu 'anfusuhum fayatakhallafuwna ba'diy waalladhiy nafsu muhammadin biyadihi lawadidtu 'an 'aghzuwa fiy sabiyli alllahi fa'uqtala thumma 'aghzuwa fa'uqtala thumma 'aghzuwa fa'uqtala ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":1276020,"english_bab_name":"The virtue of Jihad in the cause of Allah","english_text":"It was\nnarrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (saw)\nsaid:\n“Allah has prepared (reward) for those who go out (to fight) in\nHis\ncause: ‘And do not go out except (to fight) for Jihad in My cause,\nout of faith in Me and belief in My Messengers, but he has a\nguarantee\nfrom Me that I will admit him to Paradise, or I will return\nhim to his\ndwelling from which he set out, with the reward that he\nattained, or\nthe spoils that he acquired.’ Then he said: ‘By the\nOne in Whose Hand\nis my soul, were it not that it would be too\ndifficult for the\nMuslims, I would never have stayed behind from any\nexpedition that\nwent out in the cause of Allah. But I could not find\nthe resources to\ngive them mounts and they could not find the\nresources to follow me,\nnor would they be pleased to stay behind if I\nwent. By the One in\nWhose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, I wish I\ncould fight in the cause\nof Allah and be killed, then fight and be\nkilled, then fight and be\nkilled.’”","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
