{"id":32556,"collection_id":6,"collection":"ibnmajah","collection_name":"Sunan Ibn Majah","book_number":"23","bab_id":2.0,"english_bab_number":"2","arabic_bab_number":"2","hadith_number":"2721","our_hadith_number":3,"arabic_urn":1328260,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فَرَائِضِ الصُّلْبِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الأَوْدِيِّ، عَنِ الْهُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ وَسَلْمَانَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ فَسَأَلَهُمَا عَنِ ابْنَةٍ وَابْنَةِ ابْنٍ وَأُخْتٍ، لأَبٍ وَأُمٍّ فَقَالاَ لِلاِبْنَةِ النِّصْفُ وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلأُخْتِ وَائْتِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَسَيُتَابِعُنَا ‏.‏ فَأَتَى الرَّجُلُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَسَأَلَهُ وَأَخْبَرَهُ بِمَا قَالاَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ وَلَكِنِّي سَأَقْضِي بِمَا قَضَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلاِبْنَةِ النِّصْفُ وَلاِبْنَةِ الاِبْنِ السُّدُسُ تَكْمِلَةَ الثُّلُثَيْنِ وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلأُخْتِ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'aliyyu bnu muhammadin، haddathanaa wakiy'un، haddathanaa sufyaanu، 'an 'abiy qaysin al'awdiyyi، 'ani alhuzayli bni shurahbiyla، qaala jaa'a rajulun 'ilay 'abiy muwsay al'ash'ariyyi wasalmaana bni rabiy'aha albaahiliyyi fasa'alahumaa 'ani abnahin waabnahi abnin wa'ukhtin، l'abin wa'ummin faqaalaa lilaibnahi alnnisfu wamaa baqiya falil'ukhti waa'ti abna mas'uwdin fasayutaabi'unaa ‏.‏ fa'atay alrrajulu abna mas'uwdin fasa'alahu wa'akhbarahu bimaa qaalaa faqaala 'abdu alllahi qad dalaltu 'idhana wamaa 'anaa mina almuhtadiyna walakinniy sa'aqdiy bimaa qaday bihi rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm lilaibnahi alnnisfu walaibnahi alaibni alssudusu takmilaha alththuluthayni wamaa baqiya falil'ukhti ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":1271890,"english_bab_name":"Shares for descendants","english_text":"It was\nnarrated that Huzail bin Shurahbil said: “A man came to Abu\nMusa\nAl-Ash’ari and Salman bin Rabi’ah Al-Bahili and asked them about\n(the shares of) a daughter, a son’s daughter, a sister through\none’s\nfather and mother. They said: ‘The daughter gets one half,\nand what is\nleft goes to the sister. Go to Ibn Mas’ud, for he will\nconcur with\nwhat we say.’ So the man went to Ibn Mas’ud, and told\nhim what they\nhad said. ‘Abdullah said: ‘I will go astray and\nwill not be guided (if\nI say that I agree); but I will judge as the\nMessenger of Allah (saw)\njudged. The daughter gets one half, and the\nson’s daughter gets one-\nsixth. That makes two thirds. And what is\nleft goes to the sister.’”","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
