{"id":32543,"collection_id":6,"collection":"ibnmajah","collection_name":"Sunan Ibn Majah","book_number":"22","bab_id":5.0,"english_bab_number":"5","arabic_bab_number":"5.00","hadith_number":"2708","our_hadith_number":14,"arabic_urn":1328130,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْوَصِيَّةِ بِالثُّلُثِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، وَسَهْلٌ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ مَرِضْتُ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ حَتَّى أَشْفَيْتُ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ فَعَادَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ أَىْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي مَالاً كَثِيرًا وَلَيْسَ يَرِثُنِي إِلاَّ ابْنَتِي أَفَأَتَصَدَّقُ بِثُلُثَىْ مَالِي قَالَ ‏\"‏ لاَ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ فَالشَّطْرُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ لاَ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ فَالثُّلُثُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ الثُّلُثُ وَالثُّلُثُ كَثِيرٌ إِنَّكَ أَنْ تَتْرُكَ وَرَثَتَكَ أَغْنِيَاءَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَتْرُكَهُمْ عَالَةً يَتَكَفَّفُونَ النَّاسَ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa hishaamu bnu 'ammaarin، waalhusaynu bnu alhasani almarwaziyyu، wasahlun، qaaluwa haddathanaa sufyaanu bnu 'uyaynaha، 'ani alzzuhriyyi، 'an 'aamiri bni sa'din، 'an 'abiyhi، qaala maridtu 'aama alfathi hattay 'ashfaytu 'alay almawti fa'aadaniy rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqultu 'ay rasuwla alllahi 'inna liy maalaan kathiyrana walaysa yarithuniy 'ilaaa abnatiy 'afa'atasaddaqu bithuluthay maaliy qaala ‏\"‏ laa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qultu faalshshatru qaala ‏\"‏ laa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qultu faalththuluthu qaala ‏\"‏ alththuluthu waalththuluthu kathiyrun 'innaka 'an tatruka warathataka 'aghniyaa'a khayrun min 'an tatrukahum 'aalahan yatakaffafuwna alnnaasa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":1270250,"english_bab_name":"Making A Will For One Third","english_text":"It was narrated from 'Amir bin Sa'd that his father said:\n“I became sick during the year of the Conquest, and was at death's door. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) came to visit me and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (SAW), I have a great deal of wealth and no one will inherit from me apart from my daughter. Can I give two thirds of my wealth in charity?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'Then half?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'One third?' He said: One third and one third is a lot. If you leave your heirs rich that is better than leaving them destitute and begging from people.”","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
