{"id":3099,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"64","bab_id":8.0,"english_bab_number":"8","arabic_bab_number":"8","hadith_number":"3976","our_hadith_number":29,"arabic_urn":136120,"arabic_bab_name":"باب قَتْلِ أَبِي جَهْلٍ","arabic_text":"أَمَرَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ بِأَرْبَعَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ رَجُلاً مِنْ صَنَادِيدِ قُرَيْشٍ فَقُذِفُوا فِي طَوِيٍّ مِنْ أَطْوَاءِ بَدْرٍ خَبِيثٍ مُخْبِثٍ، وَكَانَ إِذَا ظَهَرَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ أَقَامَ بِالْعَرْصَةِ ثَلاَثَ لَيَالٍ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِبَدْرٍ الْيَوْمَ الثَّالِثَ، أَمَرَ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ فَشُدَّ عَلَيْهَا رَحْلُهَا، ثُمَّ مَشَى وَاتَّبَعَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ وَقَالُوا مَا نُرَى يَنْطَلِقُ إِلاَّ لِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ، حَتَّى قَامَ عَلَى شَفَةِ الرَّكِيِّ، فَجَعَلَ يُنَادِيهِمْ بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِهِمْ ‏\"‏ يَا فُلاَنُ بْنَ فُلاَنٍ، وَيَا فُلاَنُ بْنَ فُلاَنٍ، أَيَسُرُّكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَطَعْتُمُ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّا قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّا، فَهَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا تُكَلِّمُ مِنْ أَجْسَادٍ لاَ أَرْوَاحَ لَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، مَا أَنْتُمْ بِأَسْمَعَ لِمَا أَقُولُ مِنْهُمْ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ أَحْيَاهُمُ اللَّهُ حَتَّى أَسْمَعَهُمْ قَوْلَهُ تَوْبِيخًا وَتَصْغِيرًا وَنَقِيمَةً وَحَسْرَةً وَنَدَمًا‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"'amara yawma badrin bi'arba'ahin wa'ishriyna rajulaan min sanaadiydi qurayshin faqudhifuwa fiy tawiyyin min 'atwaa'i badrin khabiythin mukhbithin، wakaana 'idhaa zahara 'alay qawmin 'aqaama bial'arsahi thalaatha layaalin، falammaa kaana bibadrin alyawma alththaalitha، 'amara biraahilatihi fashudda 'alayhaa rahluhaa، thumma mashay waattaba'ahu 'ashaabuhu waqaaluwa maa nuray yantaliqu 'ilaaa liba'di haajatihi، hattay qaama 'alay shafahi alrrakiyyi، faja'ala yunaadiyhim bi'asmaa'ihim wa'asmaa'i 'aabaa'ihim ‏\"‏ yaa fulaanu bna fulaanin، wayaa fulaanu bna fulaanin، 'ayasurrukum 'annakum 'ata'tumu alllaha warasuwlahu fa'innaa qad wajadnaa maa wa'adanaa rabbunaa haqqana، fahal wajadtum maa wa'ada rabbukum haqqana ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala faqaala 'umaru yaa rasuwla alllahi، maa tukallimu min 'ajsaadin laa 'arwaaha lahaa faqaala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ waalladhiy nafsu muhammadin biyadihi، maa 'antum bi'asma'a limaa 'aquwlu minhum ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala qataadahu 'ahyaahumu alllahu hattay 'asma'ahum qawlahu tawbiykhana watasghiyrana wanaqiymahan wahasrahan wanadamana‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":37200,"english_bab_name":"The killing of Abu Jahl","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Talha:\n\n<p>On the day of Badr, the Prophet ordered that the corpses of twenty four leaders of Quraish should be \nthrown into one of the dirty dry wells of Badr. (It was a habit of the Prophet that whenever he \nconquered some people, he used to stay at the battle-field for three nights. So, on the third day of the \nbattle of Badr, he ordered that his she-camel be saddled, then he set out, and his companions followed \nhim saying among themselves.\" \"Definitely he (i.e. the Prophet) is proceeding for some great \npurpose.\" When he halted at the edge of the well, he addressed the corpses of the Quraish infidels by \ntheir names and their fathers' names, \"O so-and-so, son of so-and-so and O so-and-so, son of so-andso! \nWould it have pleased you if you had obeyed Allah and His Apostle? We have found true what \nour Lord promised us. Have you too found true what your Lord promised you? \"`Umar said, \"O \nAllah's Apostle! You are speaking to bodies that have no souls!\" Allah's Apostle said, \"By Him in \nWhose Hand Muhammad's soul is, you do not hear, what I say better than they do.\" (Qatada said, \n\"Allah brought them to life (again) to let them hear him, to reprimand them and slight them and take \nrevenge over them and caused them to feel remorseful and regretful.\")","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
