{"id":3052,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"63","bab_id":46.0,"english_bab_number":"46","arabic_bab_number":"46","hadith_number":"3929","our_hadith_number":154,"arabic_urn":135640,"arabic_bab_name":"باب مَقْدَمِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَصْحَابِهِ الْمَدِينَةَ","arabic_text":"لَقَدْ أَكْرَمَكَ اللَّهُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ وَمَا يُدْرِيكِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَكْرَمَهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ لاَ أَدْرِي بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ قَالَ ‏\"‏ أَمَّا هُوَ فَقَدْ جَاءَهُ وَاللَّهِ الْيَقِينُ، وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَرْجُو لَهُ الْخَيْرَ، وَمَا أَدْرِي وَاللَّهِ وَأَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَا يُفْعَلُ بِي ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَتْ فَوَاللَّهِ لاَ أُزَكِّي أَحَدًا بَعْدَهُ قَالَتْ فَأَحْزَنَنِي ذَلِكَ فَنِمْتُ فَأُرِيتُ لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ عَيْنًا تَجْرِي، فَجِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ ذَلِكَ عَمَلُهُ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"laqad 'akramaka alllahu‏.‏ faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ wamaa yudriyki 'anna alllaha 'akramahu ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaalat qultu laa 'adriy bi'abiy 'anta wa'ummiy yaa rasuwla alllahi faman qaala ‏\"‏ 'ammaa huwa faqad jaa'ahu waalllahi alyaqiynu، waalllahi 'inniy l'arjuw lahu alkhayra، wamaa 'adriy waalllahi wa'anaa rasuwlu alllahi maa yuf'alu biy ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaalat fawaalllahi laa 'uzakkiy 'ahadana ba'dahu qaalat fa'ahzananiy dhalika fanimtu fa'uriytu li'uthmaana bni maz'uwnin 'aynana tajriy، faji'tu rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm fa'akhbartuhu‏.‏ faqaala ‏\"‏ dhalika 'amaluhu ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":36720,"english_bab_name":"The arrival of the Prophet (saws) at Al-Madina","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated 'Um Al-`Ala:\n\n<p>An Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet that the Ansar drew lots \nconcerning the dwelling of the Emigrants. `Uthman bin Maz'un was decided to dwell with them (i.e. \nUm Al-`Ala's family), `Uthman fell ill and I nursed him till he died, and we covered him with his \nclothes. Then the Prophet came to us and I (addressing the dead body) said, \"O Abu As-Sa'ib, may \nAllah's Mercy be on you! I bear witness that Allah has honored you.\" On that the Prophet said, \"How \ndo you know that Allah has honored him?\" I replied, \"I do not know. May my father and my mother \nbe sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! But who else is worthy of it (if not `Uthman)?\" He said, \"As \nto him, by Allah, death has overtaken him, and I hope the best for him. By Allah, though I am the \nApostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me,\" By Allah, I will never assert the piety \nof anyone after him. That made me sad, and when I slept I saw in a dream a flowing stream for \n`Uthman bin Maz'un. I went to Allah's Apostle and told him of it.
