{"id":30103,"collection_id":6,"collection":"ibnmajah","collection_name":"Sunan Ibn Majah","book_number":"1","bab_id":1.0,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"270","our_hadith_number":4,"arabic_urn":1302810,"arabic_bab_name":"باب مَا جَاءَ فِي مِقْدَارِ الْمَاءِ لِلْوُضُوءِ وَالْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، وَعَبَّادُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَبَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏\"‏ يُجْزِئُ مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ مُدٌّ وَمِنَ الْغُسْلِ صَاعٌ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لاَ يُجْزِئُنَا ‏.‏ فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ يُجْزِئُ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ وَأَكْثَرُ شَعَرًا ‏.‏ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa muhammadu bnu almu'ammali bni alssabbaahi، wa'abbaadu bnu alwaliydi، qaalaa haddathanaa bakru bnu yahyay bni zabbaana، haddathanaa hibbaanu bnu 'aliyyin، 'an yaziyda bni 'abiy ziyaadin، 'an 'abdi alllahi bni muhammadi bni 'aqiyli bni 'abiy taalibin، 'an 'abiyhi، 'an jaddihi، qaala qaala rasuwlu alllahi  sly allh 'lyh wslm  ‏\"‏ yujzi'u mina alwuduw'i muddun wamina alghusli saa'un ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ faqaala rajulun laa yujzi'unaa ‏.‏ faqaala qad kaana yujzi'u man huwa khayrun minka wa'aktharu sha'arana ‏.‏ ya'niy alnnabiyya  sly allh 'lyh wslm  ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"","english_urn":1252690,"english_bab_name":"The quantity of water required for ablution and bathing from a state of sexual impurity","english_text":"'Abdullah bin Muhammed bin 'Aqil bin Abu Talib narrated from his father that his grandfather said:\n\"The Messenger of Allah said: 'A Mudd is sufficient for the ablution and a Sa' is sufficient for the bath.'
