{"id":2784,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"62","bab_id":3.0,"english_bab_number":"3","arabic_bab_number":"3","hadith_number":"3654","our_hadith_number":6,"arabic_urn":132840,"arabic_bab_name":"باب قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: «سُدُّوا الأَبْوَابَ إِلاَّ بَابُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ»","arabic_text":"\"‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَيَّرَ عَبْدًا بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَبَيْنَ مَا عِنْدَهُ فَاخْتَارَ ذَلِكَ الْعَبْدُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ فَبَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ، فَعَجِبْنَا لِبُكَائِهِ أَنْ يُخْبِرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ عَبْدٍ خُيِّرَ‏.‏ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم هُوَ الْمُخَيَّرُ وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَعْلَمَنَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ إِنَّ مِنْ أَمَنِّ النَّاسِ عَلَىَّ فِي صُحْبَتِهِ وَمَالِهِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَلَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلاً غَيْرَ رَبِّي لاَتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَلَكِنْ أُخُوَّةُ الإِسْلاَمِ وَمَوَدَّتُهُ، لاَ يَبْقَيَنَّ فِي الْمَسْجِد ِباب إِلاَّ سُدَّ، إِلاَّ باب أَبِي بَكْرٍ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"\"‏ 'inna alllaha khayyara 'abdana bayna alddunyaa wabayna maa 'indahu faakhtaara dhalika al'abdu maa 'inda alllahi ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala fabakay 'abuw bakrin، fa'ajibnaa libukaa'ihi 'an yukhbira rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'an 'abdin khuyyira‏.‏ fakaana rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm huwa almukhayyaru wakaana 'abuw bakrin 'a'lamanaa، faqaala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ 'inna min 'amanni alnnaasi 'alayya fiy suhbatihi wamaalihi 'abaa bakrin، walaw kuntu muttakhidhana khaliylaan ghayra rabbiy laattakhadhtu 'abaa bakrin، walakin 'ukhuwwahu al'islaami wamawaddatuhu، laa yabqayanna fiy almasjid ibab 'ilaaa sudda، 'ilaaa bab 'abiy bakrin ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":34110,"english_bab_name":"\"Close the gates (in the  Mosque), except the gate of Abu Bakr.\"","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:\n\n<p>Allah's Apostle addressed the people saying, \"Allah has given option to a slave to choose this world or \nwhat is with Him. The slave has chosen what is with Allah.\" Abu Bakr wept, and we were astonished \nat his weeping caused by what the Prophet mentioned as to a Slave ( of Allah) who had been offered a \nchoice, (we learned later on) that Allah's Apostle himself was the person who was given the choice, \nand that Abu Bakr knew best of all of us. Allah's Apostle added, \"The person who has favored me \nmost of all both with his company and wealth, is Abu Bakr. If I were to take a Khalil other than my \nLord, I would have taken Abu Bakr as such, but (what relates us) is the Islamic brotherhood and \nfriendliness. All the gates of the Mosque should be closed except the gate of Abu Bakr.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
