{"id":2751,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"61","bab_id":25.0,"english_bab_number":"25","arabic_bab_number":"25","hadith_number":"3617","our_hadith_number":124,"arabic_urn":132470,"arabic_bab_name":"باب عَلاَمَاتِ النُّبُوَّةِ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ","arabic_text":"كَانَ رَجُلٌ نَصْرَانِيًّا فَأَسْلَمَ وَقَرَأَ الْبَقَرَةَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ، فَكَانَ يَكْتُبُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَعَادَ نَصْرَانِيًّا فَكَانَ يَقُولُ مَا يَدْرِي مُحَمَّدٌ إِلاَّ مَا كَتَبْتُ لَهُ، فَأَمَاتَهُ اللَّهُ فَدَفَنُوهُ، فَأَصْبَحَ وَقَدْ لَفَظَتْهُ الأَرْضُ فَقَالُوا هَذَا فِعْلُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَصْحَابِهِ، لَمَّا هَرَبَ مِنْهُمْ نَبَشُوا عَنْ صَاحِبِنَا‏.‏ فَأَلْقُوهُ فَحَفَرُوا لَهُ فَأَعْمَقُوا، فَأَصْبَحَ وَقَدْ لَفَظَتْهُ الأَرْضُ، فَقَالُوا هَذَا فِعْلُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَصْحَابِهِ نَبَشُوا عَنْ صَاحِبِنَا لَمَّا هَرَبَ مِنْهُمْ‏.‏ فَأَلْقَوْهُ فَحَفَرُوا لَهُ، وَأَعْمَقُوا لَهُ فِي الأَرْضِ مَا اسْتَطَاعُوا، فَأَصْبَحَ قَدْ لَفَظَتْهُ الأَرْضُ، فَعَلِمُوا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَأَلْقَوْهُ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"kaana rajulun nasraaniyyana fa'aslama waqara'a albaqaraha wa'aala 'imraana، fakaana yaktubu lilnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm، fa'aada nasraaniyyana fakaana yaquwlu maa yadriy muhammadun 'ilaaa maa katabtu lahu، fa'amaatahu alllahu fadafanuwhu، fa'asbaha waqad lafazathu al'ardu faqaaluwa hadhaa fi'lu muhammadin wa'ashaabihi، lammaa haraba minhum nabashuwa 'an saahibinaa‏.‏ fa'alquwhu fahafaruwa lahu fa'a'maquwa، fa'asbaha waqad lafazathu al'ardu، faqaaluwa hadhaa fi'lu muhammadin wa'ashaabihi nabashuwa 'an saahibinaa lammaa haraba minhum‏.‏ fa'alqawhu fahafaruwa lahu، wa'a'maquwa lahu fiy al'ardi maa astataa'uwa، fa'asbaha qad lafazathu al'ardu، fa'alimuwa 'annahu laysa mina alnnaasi fa'alqawhu‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":33780,"english_bab_name":"The signs of Prophethood in Islam","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Anas:\n\n<p>There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-`Imran, and he used to \nwrite for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: \n\"Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him.\" Then Allah caused him to die, and the \npeople buried him, but in the morning they saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, \n\"This is the act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and took his \nbody out of it because he had run away from them.\" They again dug the grave deeply for him, but in \nthe morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, \"This is an act of \nMuhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and threw his body outside it, \nfor he had run away from them.\" They dug the grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning \nthey again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. So they believed that what had befallen him \nwas not done by human beings and had to leave him thrown (on the ground).","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
