{"id":2490,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"58","bab_id":18.0,"english_bab_number":"18","arabic_bab_number":"18","hadith_number":"3182","our_hadith_number":24,"arabic_urn":128980,"arabic_bab_name":"باب","arabic_text":"أَلَسْنَا عَلَى الْحَقِّ وَهُمْ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ بَلَى ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَقَالَ أَلَيْسَ قَتْلاَنَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَقَتْلاَهُمْ فِي النَّارِ قَالَ ‏\"‏ بَلَى ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ فَعَلَى مَا نُعْطِي الدَّنِيَّةَ فِي دِينِنَا أَنَرْجِعُ وَلَمَّا يَحْكُمِ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَلَنْ يُضَيِّعَنِي اللَّهُ أَبَدًا ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَانْطَلَقَ عُمَرُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَلَنْ يُضَيِّعَهُ اللَّهُ أَبَدًا‏.‏ فَنَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ الْفَتْحِ، فَقَرَأَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى عُمَرَ إِلَى آخِرِهَا‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَوَفَتْحٌ هُوَ قَالَ ‏\"‏ نَعَمْ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"'alasnaa 'alay alhaqqi wahum 'alay albaatili faqaala ‏\"‏ balay ‏\"‏‏.‏ faqaala 'alaysa qatlaanaa fiy aljannahi waqatlaahum fiy alnnaari qaala ‏\"‏ balay ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala fa'alay maa nu'tiy alddaniyyaha fiy diyninaa 'anarji'u walammaa yahkumi alllahu baynanaa wabaynahum faqaala ‏\"‏ abna alkhattaabi، 'inniy rasuwlu alllahi، walan yudayyi'aniy alllahu 'abadana ‏\"‏‏.‏ faantalaqa 'umaru 'ilay 'abiy bakrin faqaala lahu mithla maa qaala lilnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala 'innahu rasuwlu alllahi، walan yudayyi'ahu alllahu 'abadana‏.‏ fanazalat suwrahu alfathi، faqara'ahaa rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'alay 'umara 'ilay 'aakhirihaa‏.‏ faqaala 'umaru yaa rasuwla alllahi، 'awafathun huwa qaala ‏\"‏ na'am ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":29700,"english_bab_name":null,"english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Wail:\n\n<p>We were in Siffin and Sahl bin Hunaif got up and said, \"O people! Blame yourselves! We were with \nthe Prophet on the day of Hudaibiya, and if we had been called to fight, we would have fought. But \n`Umar bin Al Khatab came and said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Aren't we in the right and our opponents in \nthe wrongs' Allah's Apostle said, 'Yes.' `Umar said, 'Aren't our killed persons in Paradise and their's in \nHell?' He said, 'Yes.' `Umar said, 'Then why should we accept hard terms in matters concerning our \nreligion? Shall we return before Allah judges between us and them?' Allah's Apostle said, 'O Ibn Al- \nKhattab! I am the Apostle of Allah and Allah will never degrade me. Then `Umar went to Abu Bakr \nand told him the same as he had told the Prophet. \nOn that Abu Bakr said (to `Umar). 'He is the Apostle of Allah and Allah will never degrade him.' Then \nSurat-al-Fath (i.e. Victory) was revealed and Allah's Apostle recited it to the end in front of `Umar. \nOn that `Umar asked, 'O Allah's Apostle! Was it (i.e. the Hudaibiya Treaty) a victory?'
