{"id":2477,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"58","bab_id":7.0,"english_bab_number":"7","arabic_bab_number":"7","hadith_number":"3169","our_hadith_number":11,"arabic_urn":128850,"arabic_bab_name":"باب إِذَا غَدَرَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ بِالْمُسْلِمِينَ هَلْ يُعْفَى عَنْهُمْ","arabic_text":"اجْمَعُوا إِلَىَّ مَنْ كَانَ هَا هُنَا مِنْ يَهُودَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَجُمِعُوا لَهُ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ إِنِّي سَائِلُكُمْ عَنْ شَىْءٍ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ‏.‏ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ مَنْ أَبُوكُمْ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا فُلاَنٌ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ كَذَبْتُمْ، بَلْ أَبُوكُمْ فُلاَنٌ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا صَدَقْتَ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْ شَىْءٍ إِنْ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ ‏\"‏ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ، وَإِنْ كَذَبْنَا عَرَفْتَ كَذِبَنَا كَمَا عَرَفْتَهُ فِي أَبِينَا‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ ‏\"‏ مَنْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا نَكُونُ فِيهَا يَسِيرًا ثُمَّ تَخْلُفُونَا فِيهَا‏.‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا، وَاللَّهِ لاَ نَخْلُفُكُمْ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ـ ثُمَّ قَالَ ـ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْ شَىْءٍ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ هَلْ جَعَلْتُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الشَّاةِ سُمًّا ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا نَعَمْ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ مَا حَمَلَكُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا أَرَدْنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ كَاذِبًا نَسْتَرِيحُ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"ajma'uwa 'ilayya man kaana haa hunaa min yahuwda ‏\"‏‏.‏ fajumi'uwa lahu faqaala ‏\"‏ 'inniy saa'ilukum 'an shay'in fahal 'antum saadiqiyya 'anhu ‏\"‏‏.‏ faqaaluwa na'am‏.‏ qaala lahumu alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ man 'abuwkum ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa fulaanun‏.‏ faqaala ‏\"‏ kadhabtum، bal 'abuwkum fulaanun ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa sadaqta‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ fahal 'antum saadiqiyya 'an shay'in 'in sa'altu 'anhu ‏\"‏ faqaaluwa na'am yaa 'abaa alqaasimi، wa'in kadhabnaa 'arafta kadhibanaa kamaa 'araftahu fiy 'abiynaa‏.‏ faqaala lahum ‏\"‏ man 'ahlu alnnaari ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa nakuwnu fiyhaa yasiyrana thumma takhlufuwnaa fiyhaa‏.‏ faqaala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ akhsa'uwa fiyhaa، waalllahi laa nakhlufukum fiyhaa 'abadana  thumma qaala  hal 'antum saadiqiyya 'an shay'in 'in sa'altukum 'anhu ‏\"‏‏.‏ faqaaluwa na'am yaa 'abaa alqaasimi‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ hal ja'altum fiy hadhihi alshshaahi summana ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa na'am‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ maa hamalakum 'alay dhalika ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa 'aradnaa 'in kunta kaadhibana nastariyhu، wa'in kunta nabiyyana lam yadurraka‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":29580,"english_bab_name":"If Al-Mushrikun prove tracherous to the Muslims, may they be forgiven?","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Huraira:\n\n<p>When Khaibar was conquered, a roasted poisoned sheep was presented to the Prophet as a gift (by \nthe Jews). The Prophet ordered, \"Let all the Jews who have been here, be assembled before me.\" The \nJews were collected and the Prophet said (to them), \"I am going to ask you a question. Will you tell \nthe truth?\" They said, \"Yes.\" The Prophet asked, \"Who is your father?\" They replied, \"So-and-so.\" He \nsaid, \"You have told a lie; your father is so-and-so.\" They said, \"You are right.\" He said, \"Will you \nnow tell me the truth, if I ask you about something?\" They replied, \"Yes, O Abu Al-Qasim; and if we \nshould tell a lie, you can realize our lie as you have done regarding our father.\" On that he asked, \n\"Who are the people of the (Hell) Fire?\" They said, \"We shall remain in the (Hell) Fire for a short \nperiod, and after that you will replace us.\" The Prophet said, \"You may be cursed and humiliated in it! \nBy Allah, we shall never replace you in it.\" Then he asked, \"Will you now tell me the truth if I ask you \na question?\" They said, \"Yes, O Abu Al-Qasim.\" He asked, \"Have you poisoned this sheep?\" They \nsaid, \"Yes.\" He asked, \"What made you do so?\" They said, \"We wanted to know if you were a liar in \nwhich case we would get rid of you, and if you are a prophet then the poison would not harm you.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
