{"id":23972,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"43","bab_id":139.0,"english_bab_number":"139","arabic_bab_number":"139","hadith_number":"5181","our_hadith_number":409,"arabic_urn":951840,"arabic_bab_name":"باب كَمْ مَرَّةٍ يُسَلِّمُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الاِسْتِئْذَانِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّهُ أَتَى عُمَرَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ ثَلاَثًا فَقَالَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ أَبُو مُوسَى يَسْتَأْذِنُ الأَشْعَرِيُّ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ فَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لَهُ فَرَجَعَ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ عُمَرُ مَا رَدَّكَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ يَسْتَأْذِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلاَثًا فَإِنْ أُذِنَ لَهُ وَإِلاَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ائْتِنِي بِبَيِّنَةٍ عَلَى هَذَا ‏.‏ فَذَهَبَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَقَالَ هَذَا أُبَىٌّ فَقَالَ أُبَىٌّ يَا عُمَرُ لاَ تَكُنْ عَذَابًا عَلَى أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لاَ أَكُونُ عَذَابًا عَلَى أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa musaddadun، haddathanaa 'abdu alllahi bnu daawuda، 'an talhaha bni yahyay، 'an 'abiy burdaha، 'an 'abiy muwsay، 'annahu 'atay 'umara faasta'dhana thalaathana faqaala yasta'dhinu 'abuw muwsay yasta'dhinu al'ash'ariyyu yasta'dhinu 'abdu alllahi bnu qaysin falam yu'dhan lahu faraja'a faba'atha 'ilayhi 'umaru maa raddaka qaala qaala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ yasta'dhinu 'ahadukum thalaathana fa'in 'udhina lahu wa'ilaaa falyarji' ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala a'tiniy bibayyinahin 'alay hadhaa ‏.‏ fadhahaba thumma raja'a faqaala hadhaa 'ubayyun faqaala 'ubayyun yaa 'umaru laa takun 'adhaabana 'alay 'ashaabi rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏.‏ faqaala 'umaru laa 'akuwnu 'adhaabana 'alay 'ashaabi rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حسن الإسناد","english_urn":851620,"english_bab_name":"How many times should one say salam when seeking permission to enter","english_text":"Abu Musa said that he came to ‘Umar and asked permission three times saying : Abu Musa asks permission, al-Ash’ari ask permission, and ‘Abd Allah b. Qais asks permission, but it was not granted to him. So he went away and ‘umar sent for him saying: what did you return? He replied: The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said: When one of you asks permission three times and it is not granted to him, he should go away. He said: Establish the proof of it. He went, came back, and said; This is Ubayy. Ubayy said: ‘Umar, do not be an agony for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). ‘Umar said : I shall not be an agony for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him).","english_grade":"Hasan in chain","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
