{"id":23428,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"42","bab_id":9.0,"english_bab_number":"1685","arabic_bab_number":"9","hadith_number":"4637","our_hadith_number":42,"arabic_urn":946400,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي الْخُلَفَاءِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ دَلْوًا دُلِّيَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَأَخَذَ بِعَرَاقِيهَا فَشَرِبَ شُرْبًا ضَعِيفًا ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُمَرُ فَأَخَذَ بِعَرَاقِيهَا فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى تَضَلَّعَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُثْمَانُ فَأَخَذَ بِعَرَاقِيهَا فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى تَضَلَّعَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ عَلِيٌّ فَأَخَذَ بِعَرَاقِيهَا فَانْتَشَطَتْ وَانْتَضَحَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهَا شَىْءٌ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa muhammadu bnu almuthannay، qaala haddathaniy 'affaanu bnu muslimin، haddathanaa hammaadu bnu salamaha، 'an 'ash'atha bni 'abdi alrrahmani، 'an 'abiyhi، 'an samuraha bni jundubin، 'anna rajulaan، qaala yaa rasuwla alllahi 'inniy ra'aytu ka'anna dalwana dulliya mina alssamaa'i fajaa'a 'abuw bakrin fa'akhadha bi'araaqiyhaa fashariba shurbana da'iyfana thumma jaa'a 'umaru fa'akhadha bi'araaqiyhaa fashariba hattay tadalla'a thumma jaa'a 'uthmaanu fa'akhadha bi'araaqiyhaa fashariba hattay tadalla'a thumma jaa'a 'aliyyun fa'akhadha bi'araaqiyhaa faantashatat waantadaha 'alayhi minhaa shay'un ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"ضعيف","english_urn":846200,"english_bab_name":"The Caliphs","english_text":"Samurah b. Jundub told that a man said: Messenger of Allah (saws)! I saw (in a dream) that a bucket was hung from the sky. Abu Bakr came, caught hold of both ends of its wooden handle, and drank a little of it. Next came ‘Umar who caught hold of both ends of its wooden handle and drank of it to his fill. Next came ‘Uthman who caught hold of both ends of its handle and drank of it to his fill. Next came ‘All. He caught hold of both ends of its handle, but it became upset and some (water) from it was sprinkled on him.","english_grade":"Da'if","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
